Has AJ Brown really made the Eagles better than the Cowboys?

Because as far as I can tell that's the only difference between last year's Eagles and this year's team.

Dallas dominated Philadelphia in all 3 phases last year and I don't think Brown is THAT much of a difference maker. Diggs can easily lock him down.

Yeah, Hurts may have improved some and we may have lost Amari Cooper and Dak (for this game only), but the Dallas defense is probably even better than what it was a year ago.

I think Sunday's game is going to be very close and Dallas has a good shot to win as long as they continue to not turn the ball over.

Cowboys may win but this is a horrifically uninformed post if you really have no idea about all the pieces the Eagles added this year.

I love that you decide to call out one of our fans because he might not have followed every roster transaction a team we swept, and outscored by 40+ points last season.

Here's another point of fact:

All it takes is a 1 pt victory by Dallas on Sunday night to show you're likely "horrifically uninformed" yourself.

He could take 3 seconds and google 'eagles 2022 draft and free agent acquisitions' before posting such a frankly stupid post. It's not asking a lot. Talk about a low information post.

Last season the Cowboys beat the Eagles twice, once by 20 points, the other by 25 points.

So, I guess the question could be phrased, Does A.J. Brown make the Eagles three touchdowns better than they were last season?

Now, it really doesn't matter who the better team is when it comes to this game. Ther Cowboys are limited offensively, the quarterback position is the most critical when it comes to offensive productivity.

This game doesn't decide the division champion. However, it is most likely that their game on Christmas Eve will. If both teams were at full strength then I would give the nod to the Cowboys.

Let's hope AJ discovers that our secondary is better than he thinks. They're really good.

Hurts and the egirls are both overrated. Our D will expose Hurts as a fraud and talk will resume about Hurts' limited talent and why he is not an NFL caliber QB. No more MVP nonsense.

They don't just need good players, they need all pro players. Dak had one of the best teams we have had in the last 30 years last year and he couldn't move the dam ball against the niners in our only playoff game. Look how many guys cashed in the offseason, OUR TEAM WAS STACKED! HE IS A FRAUD AND TRASH END OF STORY......HE WILL NEVER WIN A SUPER BOWL!!!!

Our team was not stacked. Why is no one criticizing Zeke? He takes in 20 million and has consistently been a non-factor.

Steele, Mcgovern, Armstrong are starters this season and where all on the bench last year. Wilson was our 4th WR. The team was stacked and healthy as could be and Daky couldn’t get the ball past the 50.

I think tonite, it will be very apparent to all…Booger and Chuckles included…that real money should have been spent at WR in FA…I’d be shocked if we have anyone running around free in the secondary….still think with every bone in my body that this is a bottom 5 WR corp…sickens me that nothing was done to bolster it. FWIW….I hope the refs don’t get caught up in the home crowd frenzy the same way the home plate umpires did in SD the past 2 games…pathetic!!!

The Cowboys have some stud receivers also and many Cowboys fans don't seem to be seeing that fact. Sure, maybe not all with great speed, but many with great hands
Our receivers have great hands? Your definition is different than mine I guess. Consistency matters to me.

Say what you want about the eagles. They identified areas of their team that needed improving and they did just that. They basically put the talent around hurts to say this is a make it or break it year for him. They have the assets in draft capital to get a top tier qb if hurts doesnt pan out.

Ive always respected roseman's ability to aquire talent and not be afraid. His drafting has been a little suspect tho.

You are exactly right. Yeah his drafting has been suspect, but you can tell they're going for it all. He certainly didn't draft poorly this year. The Eagles have actually managed to build an offense to support that QB. Similar to what Miami is doing for Tua, and what the Giants ownership is trying to do with Jones. The problem becomes what happens when those QBs don't have ideal situations around them. You saw it with Wentz.

I've been a big critic of Dak, but man do I wish he was playing tonight. It's very hard in today's game to have an elite defense. We're lucky to have one that might be close to elite. They are saving the season. But no defense is going to single handedly take a team to the SB anymore. 2013 was the last we'll see.

Cowboys had 163 rushing yards last game.

And Rush has been kept upright for the most part when asked to pass.

I know TP is the flavor du jour in CZ right now but enough with the gaslighting.

And I'm usually a fan of your posting, fyi.

How AJ Brown was unaccounted for at the line of scrimmage on many plays was mind boggling.

The Eagles did something Jerry won't do: utilize FA. That is why, even with a bum QB, they are 6-0.
