That the coach says it's not the players, but the coach that is to blame .. and that the players say it's not the coach, but the players that are to blame ??

While I appreciate this sort of reverse finger pointing, the end result is the same as normal finger pointing ..

Yes, and from Wade that schtick is getting old.

Well many of these are the same players that did an "el foldo" each December under Parcells, so I think it's on them...they are the one constant.

When Wade said its on me. It doesnt nothing for me. I dont think he believes it... he is just saying it to coach-like.

When the players says its not Wade or coaches it them then what the heck?
Do something about it??

Ok everyone is taking blame and we continue to go out and lose to inferior teams.

Yep and great point. From my perspective, coaches and players both should stop publicly pointing fingers and privately start acting like adult professionals to fit this problem internally. There is too much Hollywood living inside the center the Cowboys lockerroom.

Wade sticks his own finger up his bunghole.

I'm certainly tired of hearing both sides say "It's not them, it's us." Just stop talking about whose fault it is, or isn't, and do something about it.

How is the end result the same? And if that's true, wouldn't that mean that it never matters who you blame?

Isn't it better to accept responsibility than to try to blame someone else and say, "It's not my fault"?

I think it's definitely the players but Wade is being a player's coach. We'll see how much respect and love they have for him by their effort this week.

Now that there's actually silly talk about firing him in midseason, I would expect them to play their hearts out and possibly get into a few scuffles on the field. It shouldn't take the coach or the threat of his firing to get these heartless hinds to fight and play hard on every play, but that's what it looks like.

The point is it's disingenuine. The players obviously need to be better and Wade saying it's the coaches just shows what a dumb arse coach he is to begin with.

I think the end problem is that neither party seems to truely believe that it's their fault. Wade will say it's his fault, but change nothing. The players will say it's their fault, but change nothing. It's almost better to have them blaming each other so maybe something, somewhere gets fixed.

It's called a copout. If everyone's to blame, then nobody is. It's a way of ducking responsibility.

What I hope for this week is that this team will rally around their embattled coach and pull out a tough win at home over the Bucs.

I want Moose Johnston to commend the team while we are kneeling the ball, citing the team's admirable response to this tumultuous month.

I hope.

Nobody is blaming everybody. They are blaming themselves.

How would they not "duck responsibility"

Wade has been doing that since like forever. I remember when he was with the Charger he would always take the blame for his players, which some players later thank him for. The Charger fans want to fire Norv Turner and want Wade back. The Cowboy fans want to fire Wade and maybe switch with the Chargers and take Norv :D. My confidence on the team is still good, although it has taken a beaten a bit lately. I did tell myself at the end of last season though, that I prefer a good finish than a good start. Knowing fully well that a bad start will result in the type of threads we see these days. Reading the threads can be avoided, but seeing the Cowboys lose at the end of the season sticks around ;).

Most of the players we have are the same ones that were under Parcells, maybe that is why he left, To many wont to be football stars and not football champions
