Maybe I'm off base here but I've seen at least 8 pundits pick the eagles to win and none pick us. This is from ESPN, NFL Channel, and various internet sights. I just don't get it. We absolutely dominated then earlier in the year, they are weaker now on both sides of the ball than they were for that game, and if anything we are a better team now. The only thing they have going for them is that they are at home. I don't buy the whole they will be a better team without TO. They may have less turmoil but they are weaker on the field. If they had beat the Commanders then maybe I would get it but they did not look good last Sunday Night so how in hell are they supposed to beat us?

Yeah, I've noticed that. Everyone lists all the problems the Eagles have, how they were dominated in the first game, how Parcells has had two weeks to gameplan . . . then they pick the Eagles to win . . . :blind:

Sterling Sharpe picked us, but most of the experts don't believe in us...yet.

Most seem to be picking Philly -

I know a few are picking Dallas -

Merrill Hodge
Hank Goldberg
Mark Sherleth (I have no idea how to spell his last name)
Chris Carter

That is about the only ones I have seen.

I disagree that we're better.

We'll have a Julius Jones coming off an injury, Anthony Henry may be limited, Flozell's out, we have a rookie kicker, no Patrick Crayton......the list goes on.

They're a worse team than we played earlier....sure....but so are we....

Living in Jersey and hearing the Filthy radio stations all the time......the talking heads on radio up here are matter of factly thinking the Eagles will win....to them it isn't even a question IF they will win, but more of how much and hopeing for no injuries for the Giants game next week.

i actually prefer when the majority of the experts pick us to lose, we all

know how accurate most of those guys are.

Probably has to with the fact, they are undefeated at home this year and haven't lost a divisional game at home in like 4 years.

Those streaks will end Monday night.

Julius is 100% per Parcells, even if Henry doesn't play A Glenn has played well and the Eagle WR's don't scare me. Flo is out but Tucker is playing good, like Cortez is any better, we have Peerless.

I'd say the overwhelming majority have picked Philly. The old saying is to go around and ask people who they think is going to win and then pick the opposite of what the majority is saying. So, that's a good thing. :D

It's strange to me that almost nobody mentions that Dallas is coming off a bye week. Furthermore, when you have a team that passes 72% of the time and they lose by far and away their best WR, that's NOT a good thing. Not to mention they lost their starting center for the last 5 or so years.

Rich..........

They're at home. It's an emotional game for them. Still, there are many takers on both sides of this game. It's not a lack of respect, mind you. The game in Dallas shouldn't have much to do with it anyway.

Emotions run both ways. If we can get up on them early, the same emotion that will lift them early in the game could doom them if we show them the last game was no fluke.
