We've seen this a hundred times with NY.

Players play crappy....looks like Coach "Soandso" has lost the team....players have a "heart to heart"....Giants play well down the stretch.

It happened numerous times with Fassel.....I can remember several "guarantees" from him.

It happened again in 2007. Coughlin has apparently lost the team. Their fans were lamenting the fact they had Eli instead of Romo. They have one of their little meetings and......

I don't get it.....I don't get why they're able to somehow have these "revivals".

I fully expect to see their best performance of the year next week.

But here's the rub. If match their intensity...if both teams play their best...we're simply better. There's more talent on our team.

We have to prepare....we have to focus....

Hmm, 2007 they didn't go on a stretch where they lost 5 of 6. They were road warriors that season and this season they've been pathetic in their last 3 on the road getting outscored by a 114 to 50 margin. They haven't even been remotely competitive in those three.

Jacobs YPC is down. Ward is without a doubt missed. Bradshaw needs to evolve into a crab so he'll at least have one set of working feet.

Their yards per catch is down. Their red zone conversion rate on both sides of the ball is way down.

They aren't a unique snowflake this year, just another also-ran with a mid-range first round draft pick upcoming.

It'll be a tough game, but with both of us coming into it with 10 days rest I like our chances much more. Bradshaw might be back, but even still he's got that cracked bone in one foot and a bad sprain in the other.

I look forward to seeing Brandon Jacobs getting punked out in his home stadium. Just a prelude to us punking them out in their new stadium next season.

Its not going to happen ... Like some of you said its not just the fact that Coughlin looks to have lost the team, no burress, no spag's no more solid production in brandon jacobs... leads to a very avg team.

The Giants won the SB two year ago and had the #1 seed last year. If you think Coughin's going anywhere, you're not very smart.

And did what with that #1 seed last season versus a #6 for that matter? Or their playoff games in 2006 and 2005?

Even Giant's fans are starting to grumble on GMB about they got a lot of breaks in '07 and maybe they need to evaluate things from the top down. They hate their coordinators more, but Kofflin is a few losses away from having to check his food for secret sauce when he goes out to eat.

They lost to a Division Rival and we should know better than anybody, seedings dont matter in that situation.

And they can grumble all they want, but every team that wins the championship gets alot of breaks.

Some of you guys thinking we are going to beat them 40-7 need to put the bottle down. I think we are going to win, but it is going to be a dog fight to the bitter end.

I will take a 1 point win and be dancing in my pjs next Sunday night.:D

Ive watched the Giants play alot over the years , but yesterday was one of there worse game's ive seen them play in years. a Very uninspiring effort against the Broncos. Now The Giants we'll have there backs against the wall when they face us next week . Being from New Jersey ive seen them respond well alot of times when that's the case. However i've also seen them throw in the towel on a season as well. When I watch the Giants I see a team that's lacking effort and desire right now. A team that use to take pride it's guys on the Offensive and defensive line seem to be getting pushed around now. There Wr's are running very lazy route's, Eli has been off and on. Alot of you might think this will be a tough game this next week but i don't think it will be.

Dallas is going to react some revenge this game. Losing there home opener, The Giant players with there jock strap decorations with some spit on the mirrors. I think the Giants will be in this game for about a quarter.

Dallas is going to crush them 41-17. Coughlin will be fearing for his job by years end. He looks tired, and a tad bit burned out to me , and i think he's not getting to his players like he use too. Also Brandon Jacobs is not the same player.

What season are you referring to when the Giants threw in the towel? I am just curious because I live in NY and unfortunately, I see almost every one of their games and I don't view them as a team that throws in the towel at all. Their big problem this year is injuries IMO.

I get the same sense about the Giants this year...plus the hunger is not like ours since they have won a SB recently and we are still fighting to get there...

This is an NFC East showdown. Anyone that expects us to run roughshod over the Giants on the road is not thinking clearly. I think we have good shot to win this game but I do not expect a high scoring game. As always, penalties and turnovers will play a big role. We'll see.

losing spag and strahan has left the giants d with no heart. Thats pretty much it-they have played in the past much better even with injuries.

Even if Coughlin has lost them (which I'm not sure about), they will definitely come out fired up and ready to play simply because of the intense rivalry between these two teams. The Giants are a team with holes and they have been exposed. Having said that, they could still beat Dallas in a critical home division game. They absolutely need this game, the crowd will be insane and they will play their best. This will be a very difficult game for Dallas regardless of how the Giants players are feeling about their coach. This kind of win could be a springboard for the Giants, but I still think they collapse before it's all said and done. Losing 5 of 6 (only win in OT at home) is not by chance. They have problems that can only be masked for so long.

Not this. Coughlin gets another year at the least. Likely two should they do poorly next year.

This is the real deal. Turnovers decide NFL games. This one will be no exception. Our defense gives us a shot no matter what. Our O should show up.
