probably all 3, along with being numb, etcAre we actually alienated, or are we just disappointed and resigned?

We couldn’t trade him after his “mvp” like season cmon… I’ve seen bigger bums still get moved for draft picks…We could not trade him.
Not just that, insisted on a short term deal, which screws us royally. Dak is anti-team.The Dak contract was horrendous when signed but as time goes on, it just gets worse.
The fact that Dak had to hold out for the Maximum amount feasible rubs me, and others I'm sure, just for the fact that he came across as more greedy than committed to winning.
Watching all the FA activity for all the other teams and how so many don't sign to the maximum but for amounts they seem respectable.
But not Dak. He didn't seem to give a squat about helping the team. He signed the most crippling contract he could for the teams sake.
Not only will his contract hinder us presently, with the restructures where they convert his salary to a bonus, he will be causing us cap problems well after he is gone for two to three years afterwards.
While his restructuring helps us short term, it will limit us for many years.
He didn't "take the money." He fought for it and insisted on a short term deal, making sure we wouldn't win.How can anyone blame him for taking the money?
I hold nothing against him. He's just not that good. Not his fault, that's just the way it is
He did what every player in the NFL would do in that situation.I guess if we can't blame him that he's naive? He sucks, so I can blame him for alienating everyone on principles alone
What bus? The bus to hang out at the rim?Get off the bus if you want
He had a no trade clause. Wake up.We couldn’t trade him after his “mvp” like season cmon… I’ve seen bigger bums still get moved for draft picks…
Geno smith is commanding money… geno in his mid 30s
Jethro makes the same repeated mistakes over and over, but it is Dak's fault.Dak alienated me as a fan by his terrible play of the QB position. i cannot blame him for taking Jerry's money though, I would have as well
Dont blame Dak for signing a ridiculous contract, blame our idiot GM that agreed to it.The Dak contract was horrendous when signed but as time goes on, it just gets worse.

Some call it greed, others call it free market capitalism. If I knew I wasn't good at my job and some idiot wanted to pay me like I was the best ever at it, hell, I too would take the money and run.
All Dak's contract proved to me is that he is an individual who focuses only on himself. Selfish is the word some would use. Dak could have vetoed the deal out of sheer desire to play for a winner but he didn't, and in the process revealed his true, greedy colors.

I agree completely with you however back to last season. Had the Jones’ signed both CD and Dak, who were never offered in August what they should have done in March the Boys would have cleared up 20 million in CAP space! But Jerry likes to say there were “outside circumstances “ that prohibited them to doing so! That is total B.S. and Jerry knows it! He does not really care about winning, he is at the bottom intelligence wise of GM’s in the league but his over bloated ego thinks he’s smarter than everyone and he can win cheaper than anyone else! The Dak contract was horrendous when signed but as time goes on, it just gets worse.

WHY???I think we have the most whacky fans
No bigger Dak supporter over the years here than me, but Dak lied to all of Cowboys Nation. He said last summer that he was not looking for the highest paid contract and that he planned on working with Jerry & Stephen. Well, Dak did the complete opposite. He held out from signing the contract until the morning of Week 1's game day, plus not only was it a franchise record high, it was the highest paid contract per AAV in the history of the NFL which still stands today a whole season later. The Dak contract was horrendous when signed but as time goes on, it just gets worse.
