Has Dak alienated much of the Fanbase

Completely agree with the OP. I actually was ok with him being a second tier QB and paying him like one. But then take the saved money and surround him with offensive talent and a better running game and just let him be the ultimate bus driver. But his criminal agent got the best of Jerry (elder abuse).

I agree 100%. If his cap hit was that of a 2nd tier QB- I'd be okay with him.

I am sure multiple people were involved with Dak contract. GM Jethro made the Trance trade by himself. The Niners should lose draft picks for taking of old man Jones.

The Dak contract was horrendous when signed but as time goes on, it just gets worse.
The fact that Dak had to hold out for the Maximum amount feasible rubs me, and others I'm sure, just for the fact that he came across as more greedy than committed to winning.
Watching all the FA activity for all the other teams and how so many don't sign to the maximum but for amounts they seem respectable.
But not Dak. He didn't seem to give a squat about helping the team. He signed the most crippling contract he could for the teams sake.
Not only will his contract hinder us presently, with the restructures where they convert his salary to a bonus, he will be causing us cap problems well after he is gone for two to three years afterwards.
While his restructuring helps us short term, it will limit us for many years.

I agree
He told me everything I needed to know when he said he owed it to the other QBs in the league instead of his Team Mates
once he got paid his concentration was how to demolish his mansion to rebuild a new one

His best year was his rookie year when Romo was his personal QB coach ( told him what to do )
When Tony left Dak looked horrible until they traded for Cooper
He doesn’t make the players around him better , he needs good players to make him self better
Believe he might hold the season record for pick 6 in a season
Doesn’t go through his progressions

Some might say look at his statistics, which I counter to how much of those were against prevent defense ( bend not break )

So yes he alienated this fan

Jerry Jones owns the team. Dak works for him. Jerry Jones did not have to agree to anything. If Dak couldn’t get what he wanted from the Cowboys he would have to go offer his services to another team. Either way, Jerry Jones still owns the Cowboys. Dak Prescott was confident he would be successful whether or not Jerry agreed to his terms. Jerry Jones was not confident enough as owner/GM he could be as successful without Dak. Jerry acquiesced. Not Dak’s responsibility to instruct Jerry Jones on proper handling of player compensation.
Of course. And if Dak was interested in winning a super bowl, he would not have fought for a short term deal. The short term deal hamstrings the franchise and ascertains that we won't make a super bowl appearance.

Define successful. Moneywise, Dak is a huge success. Footballwise, he is not.

Dak has shown all the signs of a loser who's only interested in how much money he can suck out of Jerry.

This is a new angle that I've never heard before, I'll give you that. But I'll have to respectfully disagree with you. Our penalty issues weren't just the offensive linemen.

We had offensive holding issues on top of illegal formations, false starts, defensive pass interferences, defensive offsides, defensive holding, hands to the face by both offensive and defensive lines, etc.

So again, you blaming Dak for the Cowboys leading the NFL in penalties for multiple seasons is pretty hilarious.

That's the first time I've ever heard of a quarterback being blamed for league leading team wide penalties. What other quarterbacks in history have you ever seen blamed for their team leading the NFL in penalties.

What are their names, im just curious....
What's even more hilarious is you even saying that trash. Grow up, dude, and learn to read. Sick. And while you're at it, learn to have adult convos. You've hung around the Dakspew so long, you don't even realize when you post the Dakspew trash. Leave me out of it.

well, perception is one thing. reality is another.

our emotional biases get in the way of judgement. that was the 2023 stats.

Disclaimer: This is by no means a defense of Dak and his play or lack there of. Its putting facts in place of perceptions. Dak needs to improve his play. The Cowboys need to improve their play.

I'm not emotional, not even a little. We disagree, it's OK.

Hence the reason he sat out when they lost. The injury was sure timely. He wasn't going to play 17 games and go 5-12 without some injury to blame.

Typical response of a true kid right here. "Dakspew" my ***. I don't defend Dak because Dak is a part of the reason we aren't succeeding to the highest levels, Stevie Wonder can see that.

I truly apologize for killing your weak *** narrative with that last sentence above.

You want to mention "adult conversation"?

Well let me tell you what REAL adults do, kid.... real adults can back up their statements with facts. Real adults answer questions. Real adults don't deflect when asked a question.

You clearly said it was Dak's fault for the Dallas Cowboys leading the league in penalties for multiple seasons. I asked you how was that possible and you said "holding on to the ball too long and his contract forces us to have weaker offensive linemen".

Offensive holding is just a small fraction of leading the league in penalties. So I guess according to your weak *** logic, the quarterback is blamed for hands to the face by both the offensive and defensive lines, illegal formation, offensive pass interference, defensive pass interference, false start, defensive holding, too many men on the field, encroachment, etc?

I then asked you.... so since you're blaming our quarterback for us leading the league in penalties for multiple seasons, what other quarterbacks have been blamed for their teams leading the NFL in penalties?

I asked for these quarterbacks names.

You couldn't name any other quarterback because a quarterback doesn't control team wide penalties, yet you blamed ours. You see how that works?

You're just mad because I exposed your dumb *** logic. Real adults wouldn't say something so stupid and that's why you're mad because you look dumb as **** for blaming one man for a team wide problem.

Level up your mentality kid and learn to be adult enough to be accountable for what you say and stop deflecting. Real adults speak with facts.

Haha.....if you don't have success, how do you make that kind of money?

It all goes back to our GM is an idiot.
