Has Dan Quinn been exposed

Fans bought into the team too quick after they started off 2-0 with blowout wins. I warned everyone to let the season play out more before they get carried away. Once again, a lot of fans got burned.
It happens all the time. They never listen.

Every good team they’ve had since the 90s has been exposed. However, this team is one of the biggest frauds I can remember. A lot of fans were fooled.
The 2007 team was actually good. The Giants just shifted into an entirely different gear once the playoffs started. Probably for the best; otherwise NE would have pulled off 19-0

Yes, but not at the same level .
Don’t move the goalposts you either contribute or you don’t and you apparently do and did when you yourself said you had season tickets as well. Don’t be a hippy crit

That 07 team was real good for about 13 games before the cracks started to show. We took a real beating by Washington in the season finale, and it led to a one and done in the playoffs.

We still can’t stop the run and drafted a guy to help in that in the first round who isn’t anywhere close to be ready to start in the NFL

I think there are different levels. And if I can contribute less that’s a plus.

I had season tickets for most of 4 decades at Texas Stadium. And with thousands other refused to buy in at new stadium.

Less or more doesn’t matter, you contribute so don’t think you can sit atop a perch and chastise anyone for their level of contribution when you’re a contributor as well.

It may not matter to you but it does to me. And yes, I do.

He has some explaining to do. No support from the offense tonight doesn't help. But still....guys wide open all night and SF ran at will all night.

Lots of guys hurt now also.
Was he there. Cuz we didn’t get any shot of him in the booth. No mention of him. Other than that he was the head coach at Atlanta and shanahan was the OC. Obviously shanahan owns quinn

Don't forget that their Center and RG both had the worst PFF grade at giving up pressure and Parson was tops at applying pressure. So, what do we do?
We have Parsons go against their best OL most of the game.
Parsons is not a DE
Hes a LB
Him and his idiot DC are playing him at DE for personal stats

The Cowboys front office is split on Dak McCarthy and Jerry are on one side, Stephen Jones and McClay on the other.

The honeymoon is over. It's nice to beat up on bad Qbs but any competent offense exposes every flaw we have. This defense is a paper tiger.
Everybody knows the weakness of a Dan Quinn defense, they can get run on.

That is why the defense dominates when they play from a lead and the other team has to pass to catch up.

If the game is tied or if the Cowboys are trailing, then the defense gets totally neutered.

I questioned why DQ was having the CBs playing so far off in the first quarter. Quick passes completely negate the pass rush. It does seem we have way too many receivers running wide open on our defense. Made worse by the fact our receivers never seem to be running wide open. Today it was the crossing routes. Those can be dangerous throws into the middle of the field. Where are the safeties on those passes? I do think most of the breakdowns in defense are on the players though.

This defense will look good when they have a lead and can just rush the QB. Away from that it’s still the same toxic culture. Entitled. No accountability. All that stuff combines to make this team and defense soft which gets exposed when they have some pressure on them. Truth is Quinn has always been an average coach. Nothing exceptional. He has had some talent to play with through the years.

Defense is built to pass rush............that is good as long as you play with a lead and the other team has to pass every down.

Problem is if the other team gets a lead and can run the ball, then your SOL.

That is why the Cowboys rarely come from behind to win a game under Quinn.

A good running team (eg Eagles with Hurts) tends to target Micah, they know he's going for the backfield. I dont know if this is the game plan, an aggressive Defense that creates a long 3rd Down. There's the other consideration (well for me) that Dak just cant play with a deficit and so we're aggressive on Defense as we're desparate for a lead, so Dak can manage within his comfort zone?

Defense tightened up after the opening drive and had several consecutive successful drive stops. The offense during that time did absolutely nothing and dragged them back out on the field repeatedly. I said in the game thread in the first quarter they'd be gassed by the 3rd. It was exactly what they did to us in the playoffs. Dominate TOP and eventually the defense will fold.

you need general manager that knows something instead of a greedy owner that looks after the team when he not drinking bourbon and in court for various personnel reason's and evey body know's what I mean. did he get out of his paternity thing , also the qb is what we think he is a pretender that acts like a top tier qb but when crunch time comes he folds like a thin piece of paper. this team for the last 29 years after JIMMY Johnson left has been built on a sandy beach and you know how a strong current can wash it away . So until they get a GM this is gonna happen time and again just not the 4ers game but others
