I don't get why, but they pretty much have.

I wasn't all that impressed with DET in our game, but then, I'm not very impressed by this version of the SEA team, either. It's likely SEA wins the home game, but far from a given. That's going to be a tough game for the Seahawks.

I was thinking this as well because I have watched Seattle the last 2 weeks and they have not looked good. Then I looked at the odds and Seattle is favored by 8 against the Lions. I know they are typically tough at home but I think 8 points seems like way too much. Seattle should be like 4 point favorites. I hope like hell the Lions upset the Hawks.

The Lions are certainly good enough, but after getting curb-stomped by the Giants, Cowboys, and Packers the past three weeks.......no.

Just looking back through the Lions schedule, and wow....

0-6 against teams with 9+ wins
3-5 on the road
0-3 outdoors
0-2 in Primetime

Nobody should overlook anybody if they are smart.

Heck I hope every other team over looks the Cowobys.

They won't. Whomever we face will put together a good game plan for us. This team will need to be on its toes to win. I believe we will, but playoff football will take this team's best effort.

I never thought the Lions were for real. Go back and look at their schedule/games/scores That is a team that could have ended up with 11 losses very easily....They are done.
stafford hurt his finger, and since then they have lost, but still been in the games.
That injury really hurt their chances..
plus they have no run game or dont use it, they just pass way too much.

No, I certainly havent. Seattle is not the Seattle they have been in past years. Marshawn Lynch will not be bulldozing his way into the endzone. ET won't be there to harass opposing qbs and pass catchers. Tyler Lockett highlights will be of him eating nachos on his couch.

They are as vulnerable as anyone.

Certainly don't like their chances, their odds are probably the worst of any team in the NFC but you can never write anyone off especially if you're playing them.

Seems like any team we hope for in 2 weeks will most likely have just beaten a team we hoped to avoid.

So lets see, they are playing a team this weekend with 9 or more wins, on the road, outdoors, and nationally televised.

Yea, Detroit is going to win:lmao2:

If it was on a neutral field I think the Lions could win.

Seattle is still Seattle at home.

Unfortunately, everyone has, including a good chunk of their fanbase and local Detroit media doesn't seem like Detroit has a chance...I think I heard they are 0-6 this year against playoff teams and I believe Stafford is something like 1-24 against playoff teams for his career, so they and Stafford are due.

I think they have a chance, but they will have to reverse a couple of troubling trends...someone needs to let the Detroit coaches know they are allowed to make 1/2 time adjustments and Stafford needs to play better in the second half against legit teams.

I haven't written them off. Not because I think they are this great team but someone is going to get upset this weekend. That very well could be the Seahawks. People really underestimated that loss of Earl Thomas. The Seahawks haven't looked right since on both sides of the ball.
