Is It me or is the media still living off his golden boy image of when he first came here.

We can't be the only ones noting the countless marion barber sweeps, inside draws, and "screens" that aren't really screens...

When I saw him run three straight sweeps with barber, I

I wish we actually had run 3 straight sweeps. Every series on which we ran the ball twice in a row resulted in a first down.

Barber had success every time he was called for an outside run Sunday night.

And the inside draw plays? They converted two different 3rd and 2's.

Get your facts straight before you piss and moan.

stop being short sighted..

The reason our offense wasn't moving where those ******** sweeps with barber and the refusal to stretch the field...Before the last drive, the offense was lethargic as an autumn fall..

The lack of diversification is what Im getting at

the media has been all over it all week. The fan base has called for his head every other hour. Who would u recommend as the new offensive coordinator?

I agree with you 100%. Jason Garrett has gotten a free ride from the media who cover the Cowboys for years. he's also gotten a free ride from Jerry. no one will call out the golden boy. your post is right on the money.

Im not in Dallas Right now (Relocated to Toronto), So I can't guage the reaction at all, but I remember when I was there last year and the year before, he was doing the same dumb crap and people were passing it over.

And they will keep passing it over. im no big Wade fan. but the media jumps at the chance to call wade out. yet they give the Golden boy a free ride.

He's been called out since the 2008 season by a lot of the so-called "experts" on TV. Ray Lewis called Garrett's offense predictable and easy to figure out. Whether we agree or not, I find it hard to believe that Ray Lewis was just speaking out his butt when saying that. So i'm assuming that notion is shared by some around the league as well.

Jemele hill of ESPN calls him out every chance she gets and is usually spot on with her assesement of garrett. I respect her analysis a great deal.

Talking about the local media that covers the Cowboys.not talking about Ray Lewis, or players.the local media have dropped the ball on Garrett. and they have given him a free ride for years, because they like him.

Ray Lewis may be right, but he said that after Garrett turned down the Ravens head coaching offer. Maybe some personal bitterness there.

Maybe true, but their isn't a bigger student of the game than Ray. When he see's some or tendency's he calls it out. Tony Romo said the same thing after the 44-6 game 2 years ago. He said the eagles out schemed us. It was a nice way of saying garrett got outcoached.

Records for yards.(most against bad teams) we finished near the middle of the pack in the NFL in points scored. it's points that count, not yards.

Here is Garrett,s offense against good defense last year.

Green Bay--7 points
Minnesota--3 points
Commanders--(first game)--7 points
Commanders--(2nd game)--17 points
Chargers--17 points
Denver --10 points
That's almost half the games that Garrett's offense scored less than 20 points. he is in over his head. and the cowboy media keep giving him a pass.

i would think the player also factor into that...just a smidgin. The reality is...Dallas offensive line doesnt hold up well against active front 7 and all those defense are active and physical. When romo has time to throw..everything looks brillant including Garrett

Romo had career numbers and his turnover ratio was way down...that is usually a refection of OC and QB working in tandem and progressing.
