He said he'll decide by the sixth game of the regular season. Vick is eligible to play in the final two preseason games. Then he has to sit until Goodell gives him the OK.

Some, including Mortensen, speculate that Goodell may reinstate Vick before Week 6.

The Eagles have a bye after Week 3. And based on the recommendation of Reid and Dungy, Vick could be reinstated as early as Week 5.

I never thought I'd ever agree with anything when it comes to Philly fans, but on this occasion, I agree with them. Alot of fans don't want Vick at all, from the radio phone calls. I guess the philly fans are worried about their positive image, I ask, what positive image..lol

you know there will be protests at their stadium by animal rights and peta group..

As if I needed another reason to dislike the Eagles. I hope he plays in some form when they come to Dallas so Ware can own him again :-D

Source: McNabb unhappy with Vick signing

As folks in Philly begin to process the reality that Mike Vick is the newest member of the Eagles, most people are assuming that current starting quarterback Donovan McNabb has given the deal his personal seal of approval. According to a league source with intimate knowledge of the dynamics within the organization, McNabb isn't pleased with the development. But McNabb can't say anything about it for now, due in part to the fact that the Eagles gave him a money-for-nothing contract adjustment and otherwise spent a lot of cash and first-day picks to improve the offense, at McNabb's urging.

If this is true, then I'm liking this signing by the Eagles more and more :-D

Is McNabb so insecure that he's worried and upset by a player who has not played in two years, has not been in a workout routine and who does not know the plays and is besieged by fans and the commish and others?

Truly, Vick has no chance to start anytime soon (six weeks at the least) and it would be the most amazing story if he did move aheadcof McNabb and Kolb.

Vick is at the moment a gnat and McNabb should not fret.
