With all the hype DeSean Jackson, Eddie Royal, etc, etc have gotten after this first week, didn't hear much from Sweed up in Pitt.

How did he do?

It's the first week, the only rookie WR's putting up numbers are the ones with players hurt in front of them.

I heard he had fallen to 5th in their rotation and is struggling a bit, which is not surprising since he was slow in development in college and barely played his last college year.

I'm glad we didn't draft him. I thought he was a bit too slow and is a little overrated.

read he was having a hard time picking up the offense
He was a horrible route runner at Texas, no surprise here.

On Pittsburgh radio, Craig Wolfley had the call

"On the sidelines, Limas Sweed is warming up Leftwich...and dropping balls..."

Well I doubt, very seriously, if he was there and inactive that he was caring too much, or focusing too hard, on how many balls he did or didn't catch.

He was injured which is why he was inactive.

He started off hot in camp but because of an injury and it taking him a little long to adjust to the NFL his progress has fallen back a little bit.
