Anyone think that Tampa goes and picks him up.

Sure he doesn't know the WCO, but its going to be hard to find a WCO qb of any kind right now.

Nope. They will probably be looking for someone with at least some playing time if not some starting time.

Ok at this point in the year looks like the choices are:
1) Quincy Carter
2) Jeff George
3) Drew Henson
4) make a BIG trade for someone that will cost you a 1st round draft pick

5) Jeff Blake might still be available also...

i could not see henson being able to handle a coach like gruden. also there is no way that vinny would survive a game behind that oline of the bucs.

Personally, I'm a little shocked that Henson hasn't found a home yet.

1. he has the physical tools.
2. he didn't embarrass himself in europe.
3. there's always a handful of coaches in the league who's egos are so big that they feel they can turn someone w/ his tools around.

If he couldn't handle Bill Parcells, he's not going to get a break with Jon Gruden either.

Henson is a better fit somewhere that he won't see playing time. He'd be too close to it in TB.

Me, I wouldn't be shocked to see Rich Gannon there.

Rich Gannon has officially retired. It would be too much of a hassel to bring him back. Plus his shoulder is shot and he just can't throw anymore. And his mentality never came back after that horrid Super Bowl.

Try Ty Detmer, AJ Feeley or any other ex-Eagirls/Packers QB who is not with a team.

Isn't Feeley with a team? Like the Phillies. I can see them bringing in a backup to the current backup. Gannon is supposedly shot arm wise. Jeff George can't do it. Carter can't be trusted which is why he's out of football. Gus Ferrotte (sic) might be a very outside chance. A trade for Anthony Wright another outside one. The last two could start.

Gruden has a tuff row to hoe.

At 0-3 TB isn't gonna make a big move ... they aren't gonna do anything this year regardless of who they bring in. So there is no reason for them to get hasty. Make the move you need to make to get you through this assuredly disastrous season and move on. By the way I live down here ... I'm happy that it looks like the kids gonna be ok.
