Has Rob Ryan...

Blitzed this year? I thought we had better corners so he could bring the heat?

All I know is I saw them rushing just 3 on at least 2 plays in the first half. Frankly, with a rookie QB, that should NEVER be the case. Just what he needs is non-existent pressure to allow him to sit in the pocket, get comfortable, and wait for receivers to get open.

Horrendous defensive gameplan in my opinion.

over the years it seems we had the most basic 3-4 in the lead. Its basically a 4-3 with ware standing up and blitzing most of the time from the same spot. I wish we got more exotic with our looks.

This is what I dont get it -- There have been SO many interceptions this year and so far we haven't managed to get at least 1. That needs fixing.

dude his schemes are an absolute joke.

he was running our base 3-4 cover 2 against their 4 WR sets. only when he switched to a nickle package did we slow them down.

our d-line looked weak and out of shape

Do we have any INTs yet?

no we don't force the qb's to make mistakes. We sit back and let them hit the check down who is always wide open.

We treated Wilson like he was a little school girl.

You know carefully, gently, and with great sensitivity to their well being.

I agree. He even had a base defense against a 5 receiver set at one point . Rob Ryan is nothing like his brother. So far this year, his defense has been vanilla at best. I'm very displeased with him. I've seen more aggression in Wade Philips's cupcake defense than this one.

One other issue I have with today's game plan is the replacement refs have really been allowing DBs to get away with a lot of contact down field. Why not take advantage of that and bring some heat?

Rob Ryan is nothing special IMO

did he tear up the league in Cleveland or Oakland

nope

You can't blitz when you can't stop the run. He blitzed a bunch against the Gints, but this game was lost on the defensive side of the ball because our interior DL couldn't hold their ground. Maybe he could find a better scheme, but you can't do anything as a coach about guys getting blown off the ball or about Mr. Ware deciding not to show up.

To be exact it should read:

Step 1: Add more cornerbacks or wide recevers
Step 2:
Step: Profit.

I don't know, but Rob's boys got their a**** kicked the 2nd half. P*** poor performance, plain & simple.

Don't blame the defense. Overall they truly only allowed 17 points which is very good. Blame the idiots on special teams for allowing 10 points. The offense didn't do it's job either. Romo had a subpar game by his standards. We only ran the ball 12 times so we were completely unbalanced. Romo threw the ball 40 times. I'm sorry, but that's too many. With the joke of an offensive line we have we cannot afford to be forcing our quarterback to throw the football that many times. When he did throw his idiot recievers with the exception of Miles couldn't catch anything. Witten and Dez played arguably the worst games of their career.

Both of our starting safeties out of the game probably had something to do with lack of blitzing.

I don't get why we didn't go after the QB more with Blitzes? Didn't Ryan watch any of the tapes from last weeks Seattle game? Maybe he was too busy looking pretty with his new haircut and a smaller waistline.
