He has never been fast, but he is quick and twitchy in the pocket. Whether this remains after he returns from his injury is yet to be seen, but I don't think he really lost that prior to getting hurt.I think Romo has lost a step or two. I also think Romo is going to try and play like he hasn't lost a step, and this will speed up how fast he will be injured again. It takes time to adjust your game if at all.
How will we know that whoever is on the bench has upped their game?I haven't seen any signs of him having lost any steps. If he has, though, it'll show up with Dak on his heels.
I think, if anything, both of these guys embrace the competition and up their games.
Based on what exactly?I think Romo has lost a step or two.
On what i have watched on TV, but hey maybe my vision is evading me so i brought that thought here to see what those with proper vision have to say.Based on what exactly?

the thing that worries me the most is that it seems to me that romo is starting to get nervous feet and feeling pressure that isn't there. having said that, i look forward to seeing him out there again.

Compared to when? 2006/2007? Probably a little. Compared to 2012, 2013, 2014? I don't think so, but we've only seen him for about 10 plays this year, and the only one where he ran his speed looked the same to me.
