Has signing bonus diminished the playoffs

With teams like TB, Chicago, Dallas etc.. Losing games over weeks knowing all the have to do is win 1 game. Makes me wonder how important are the playoffs to players anymore. These guys make more money now days that the pay they get in playoffs is not that much anymore. Sure that might say the want to go but how bad. Not very. They would rather get on with the offseason and rest along with spending all that money. That being said the Cowboys just sucks right now.

Maybe Jerry Jones should tie playoff incentives to player contracts. Maybe that's an NFL no-no but obviously these players aren't playing for glory. So maybe a little extra green can propel them to a winning Dec/Jan.

The NFL is a business, what incentives do most guys have to pick up a extra 18 to 30 k for a few more games...Dallas packed it in after the first quarter today,most of the players are on their way to Hawaii for the off season by now...money does not motivate great players to win, hating to lose more than anything is the motivation that drives the greatest players...
