Twitter: Has Stephen Jones Taken Over For Jerry?

That's funny. They ran this franchise into being the most valuable sports franchise in the world.
Come on man…there is a difference between a market valuation and on-field performance. Look at the top ten most valuable NFL franchises; if you do you will see that the Giants, Jets and Raiders are on that list. Are you going to tell me that they’re well-run franchises? Do you see a positive correlation between a team’s performance and their market value? So Jerry can negotiate licensing agreements and television contracts…big deal. He cannot run a team to save his **s.

Interesting couple of Tweets from Nick Harris. Just 6 days ago he asked how would we grade the Cowboys offseason after the Pickens trade:

Most Cowboys responses were positive. But then Nick quote-Tweeted this nugget:

It got me to thinking, we haven't seen the Cowboys aggressive in the offseason in a while. We all laughed at the "Cap Boy" jokes at Stephen's expense. But, if the moves made during the draft, signing of free agents to build depth and stimulate competition, and the trades that were made are any indication of how the Cowboys will be run here on out, are the Cowboys in good hands with...Stephen Jones? :omg:

What say you Zoners? :D

I thought this was well known like a decade ago. Jerry just says like "yes/no" but i'm guessing like 99% of the time just says yes, outside of the past few years seeing Stephen suck it up like a cheap a... year after year he flew off the handle with the Mingo and the Lance trades. Stephen is a clown, I'd rather have Charlotte in charge at this point...obviously.

Throw in 3 championships in the bank. The bottom line is the current team is moving in a positive direction.

i dont like lectures from other fans about how to be a fan- as if they have a blueprint for how it should be.
Oh, there is one or two of them, and then when they don't get their way, insults start coming. There is one crybaby that only comes here to fight and tell everyone how great of a fan he is and that everyone should be like him. Forget that crap!

We don’t know for certain in what direction they’re moving until the regular season begins and they’re playing against NFL starters. Potential means nothing unless it’s realized…and how many times have the fans been let down by the pre-season buzz only to be disappointed at the end of the season.

Hey, now! Don't you know that thirty years or so ago, they won three SB's? Non-cowboy fans just laugh at that when they hear Cowboy fans brag about that! lmao

Well you want to find out whether something's changed or not then why don't we wait and see if they let this guy walk for nothing don't get anything but a cup of coffee and a year out of the trade or do they actually pay that man to stay here stay tuned..

But if something is changing also how come Parsons is still not signed why aren't they not getting ahead of Tyler Smith and Deron Bland extensions?

I'm not buying it it's a group effort up there I don't see much has changed they made a trade for Amari Cooper in 2018 they put gave a first round pick for the man they just chose both of them together not to do a whole lot last year it makes this year look like they're doing something different and really they're just doing the same things they've done before last year last year was an anomaly it was absolutely crickets for moves...

But if something's changing with CaPboy well let me see it because I'm seeing a trade but we've made trades before but how about all these other contracts we'll see if George Pickens has a great season and then doesn't get signed here... I mean that's why it's always comical you won't give Jerry any credit for anything anything bad happens it's jerry anything good happens you'll find anybody else to give flowers to some of y'all in the media and the fan base just won't let it go he should get credit for everything good bad or indifferent because that's what's been going on here for years you don't get the backtrack and try to say all that must have been will mcclay or that was one of our coordinators with that pig somebody else must be responsible for George Pickens no Jerry's been involved it will always be involved...

Till he comes out and says he's no longer involved we got to give him credit whether it's good or bad because it would be unfair any other way to try to only give flowers to everyone else..
No rush to extend Micah.

The cutdown isn’t for several months.

They need about 15M in cap to extend him anyways.

And some fans thought we would be worse off with Stephen.
I don’t believe he’s in control yet and I’ve seen no progress he’s better. In fact I think it makes perfect sense that our inactivity up
Until this year was his way of playing cap boy and just showing we are a fiscally responsible franchise
