Has there ever been a better December in Cowboys history than this one?

Cowboys went an undefeated 4-0 in December.

The Cowboys' average margin of victory in those December victories was three touchdowns.

Cowboys averaged 41 points per game in December.

Three of those four December games were on the road.

Romo threw 12 touchdowns and one interception in December.

The only thing that's missing from what would have been a truly legendary December would be the Seahawks, Cardinals, Packers and Lions all losing multiple times to give the Cowboys the No. 1 seed in the conference, but that's out of the Cowboys' control.

Hold your horses. We haven't won a thing yet.

Let's win a few playoff games in January before proclaiming the greatest December in history.

And the Cowboys had 12 take aways in that four-game stretch. :)

Hell of a month, but it pales in comparison to what a big January would mean

Yes.

EVERY December that led to a SB win was better than this one — so far.

Not calling you our personally, but comparing a team's or individual's success, without a championship attached, rings hollow, IMO.

Stats are nice, but really, it's all about the ring.

That's unrelated. What happens in January doesn't affect what happened in December.

If the Cowboys get crushed 52-0 in their first playoff game, it means they had an awful January. But it doesn't change the fact that they had a great December.

If a team goes 4-0 in September but 0-4 in October, that means they had a great September but a bad October.

Well since there will be no more December games for the Cowboys, it is the greatest or one of the greatest December's in history.

No way man, this December was AWESOME and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it, I've been dying for them to finish the season strong because I believe it sets the table for success in January

And I don't think they've ever set it any better than they did this year and they deserve massive kudos, especially considering where I and virtually every arm chair QB and pundit thought they'd end up.

It doesn't guarantee anything, I'll agree but its a great foundation for future success

Your question was how was this December and not how was the whole season, so yes, it was a crazy-good December. Probably statistically the teams best.
