Has there ever been this much hype for a college player?

Literally everyone has been talking about Luck. Anytime a commentator or broadcaster talks about a win-less team they are like "will they get luck?" Talk about a lot of pressure to succeed coming into the league. Has any player ever had this much hype coming into the league?
