Garrett doesn't discipline? Come on. That's one of his strengths. If anything, he made some rookie head coach mistakes with time management, but no one can say he doesn't run a disciplined camp.

If you get beyond the obvious hype designed by the network to draw interest, I was interested in the observation about Kirkpatrick being taller and bigger. There is no way to project whether Claiborne or Kirkpatrick will in the long run be the more valuable player. They were both first round talent although I agree with most Claiborne should have been drafted first and I also agree with him being a top ten pick. Giving up the second was not a small deal although I'm content with the trade up.

As far as Sapp goes again get beyond the hype. It's not unreasonable for a non-fan to question the hype Dallas gets every year. We certainly haven't lived up to our billing most years. The statement about playoff wins is correct and hurts to my core.

Having said that they can still kiss my grits.

Discipline shows on the field in reduction of penalties (especially presnap), everyone knowing their assignments and a reduction of missed tackles. I don't think that we had a significant reduction in either category last year to say that Garrett is a disciplinarian yet. Disciple is not a lot of coach speak or sayings you plaster on the walls its about the product. Hopefully this year we will see it displayed on the field then I can say he's a disciplinarian.

Every time Heath Evans talks Dallas, he harps on Finnegan over Carr because of his "attitude & toughness "! Forget the size, age difference, & coverage abilities...we should have overpaid Finnegan because he's a supposed tough guy (even though Andre Johnson proved otherwise )!!

Give me Carr any day of the week. Heath Evans appears to have taken a few too many blows to the head. And Claiborne is much better then Kilpatrick. Not even close.
