Unlike Terrell Owens, those other guys don't undo in the lockerroom what they accomplish on the field.

Some fans will never get it.

Yeah, that's why Keyshawn and Terry Glenn were both deactivated by their teams before Terrell Owens ever was.

That's why Marty Booker literally started crying to the media about how bad he had it in Miami and how much he missed Chicago.

Haley could not have possibly picked 3 worse receivers to try to pimp over Owens.

:laugh2:

well, ive got an OC who is coaching in the Super Bowl this weekend who has coached them all agreeing with me........

This statement just shows they are there in spite of him, not because of him.

jesus christ, there is not a cat in hells chance that anybody on here can support that staement and if you do then you must be clueless.

Keyshawn Johnson was the original ME ME ME player. Whined, *****ed and cried his way out of New York(go check the title of his boom - Give me the damn ball!!) to Tampa where he cried *****ed and moaned and got deactivated to Dallas where he cried *****ed and moaned. The guy was a selfish prick and is the most hypocritical analayst on TV today.

Not one of them, not one of them guys is even in TO's class. They've all done what TO has done - ask for the ball but the media scapegoat that TO is gets it in the neck. When all is said and done only the great Jerry Rice will hjave more yards and td's than TO will have.

I am so glad that some people on here have nothing to do with outting a team together. Marty Booker, PLEASE!!

People's hate sometimes makes them say silly things.

and Love makes some of you blind............

I know TO is more of a play maker......but not the all around better WR..(routes, hands, fight for ball, becoming defender when necessary)...im speaking more on Key and Glenn than about Booker........

It's not "love" that makes people say TO is a much better wr than Glenn, Johnson and Booker.

It's common sense.

And just to think, many people are dying for this guy to be the head coach of the team. If this is how he judges talent, I'll pass.

I'll say it again, but just because a guy is extremely talented doesn't mean that you enjoy coaching him or want him on your team.

I'm not saying that TO is not very talented. I don't think Todd Haley is saying that either.

The comparisons are awful. He should've chosen different players to make his point. You don't have to want to coach TO, but you at least need to admit that he is BETTER than Keyshawn and Booker. As far as Glenn, I love him to death, but TO brings more to the table, even with the drama.

Maybe Haley was saying they're better team players as far as Haley is concerned.

The man has a right to his opinion. And if he's like me, I can understand his point.

I know I'm far from the NFL in terms of coaching, but on the kids level, I don't care if a kid is talented or not, if he's not a team player, I don't want him on my team.

I had a kid who walked to first base because he didn't hit the ball hard enough. Talented kid. Fast as lightning. But I said to myself, "He will NOT be on my team next year. I will not draft him. Not ... gonna ... do ... it."

If I was the GM, I can assure you that this team would be much more boring.

For what it's worth, I'm not saying those guys are better athletes, more productive, or better players than TO. I would just rather have any of those guys than TO.

I want guys who know their jobs cold, do everything that is asked of them, play to win, and play for the team. Unfortunately, I don't think TO is always interested in all of those things.

Glenn and Booker I can understand, but Sheshawn?

You also wouldn't be GM for the Cowboys for long, you would have followed Parcells to Miami or Payton to New Orleans. This franchise needs faces on the roster, we can't have a bunch of blue collar guys, but we need several lunch pail guys because I believe this roster has too many A personalities and not enough 9-5 lunchpail role players.

Jerry dances with the stars and leaves the lunch pail guys to be the wallflowers. I personally think you need some of both but both have to be team players committed to winning.
