Has Wade ever had a dominating defense?

Seriously has he?San Diego was good but they also had a wicked offense like we did last season.I think he is hyped cause of his daddy.Some may say well its the players as well,then its still Wade cause he evaluates the talent and puts them on the field.If its the players its his job to get others that can play better.

Yes-the Chargers D was THAT good. It wasn't just about the sacks, but they had alot of playmakers on D. They had 5-6 true pass rushers, plus a secondary that was physical and played press coverage really well. They also played the run really well too.

BTW-less not forget they played alot of "Marty Ball" on offense...so it wasn't like their offensive philosophy was exactly "wicked".

But they also created turnovers with their pressure, meaning they were creating legitimate pressure with their sacks, unlike our garbage time sacks. They generated at least one turnover every game. They were 7th in points allowed and they were first in scoring. Even when building huge leads, they didn't let-up as much as our team does. When we score a lot, our defense sucks and doesn't contain the opposing offense.

And look how awful the San Diego defense has deteriorated since Wade left.

The difference is that Wade was actually the defensive coordinator. The guy forced 4 turnovers against the Patriots in the play-offs, and Brady was the one committing them.

They were 15th in total turnovers forced and 17th in interceptions that season. We forced more turnovers that season -- and scored more defensive touchdowns -- with barely half as many sacks.
