Hasn't the schedule been fortunate for the Cowboys?

Look how the schedule has broken for us.

- In week one, we played the Giants who don't have a season-ready Strahan.
- In week two, we draw a Dolphins team that can't pass compared to a more high-powered team with Newman out.
- In week three, we beat up on the Bears with safety Mike Brown out of the lineup.
- In week four, we smack around a Rams team with an injured Marc Bulger and no Stephen Jackson.
- In week five, we play a rookie QB in Trent Edwards, who makes a dumb rookie mistake and costs his team the game.
- In week six, we play the Patriots, but early enough where this loss won't last as a confidence destroyer.

This is not to say that the Cowboys haven't earned their wins, but it seems our schedule has lined up for us pretty well. :)

It's not like we've been at 100% either. Newman, Ellis, Henry, Glenn, Fergy....

Many of those teams were probably saying the same thing before the games.

"Lol, we get to face the Cowboys without their #1 corner and #2 WR.'

'Ha!, not only are they without their #1 corner and #2 WR but they have lost their #1 NT and #1 FB, can't wait to face them.'

'What luck, they get their #1 CB back but he is still hobbled and now their #2 CB is hurt and their backup #2 WR plays with a broken finger.'

Injuries are a part of the NFL, we can't look at wins and think we were lucky. Chances are we win those games anyway.

If Norv Turner were our coach, we would be 1-5(with our lone win being against the lowly Rams).

Other teams probably saying the same thing about us. First Newman is gone, now Henery is gone, Ferguson gone, Terry Glenn gone, ect....

Injuries are part of the game, the teams that have the most depth usually end up with the better records.

Going into the New England game, the Cowboys' schedule ranked #32. Post NE, it's 30th.

Patriots schedule:

New York Jets
San Diego
Buffalo
Cincinatti
Cleveland
Dallas

Quality wise, I don't see much difference...

Well check out the Giants upcoming schedule and you will see some benefits of an easy schedule.
It will be tough for the Giants not to make the playoffs with thier schedule.

Why in the world would you even bring Norv Turner into this discussion?

You could say the same things about every team's opponents -- and about us (Newman, Henry, Ferguson, Glenn, etc.). Almost every team has those type of injury problems every single week.

During the first 6 games we have been missing our starting Wide out, starting fullback, starting nose guard, starting linebacker, both starting corners, and best special team player.

I do not feel we have had any advantage.
