How about some love for this guy... He's not one of our fancy names on the team but he is playing strong.

Yes.. Well deserved.

We only got him on a 1 year deal right?

I think we need to extend that one for sure.

Parcells pick is finally paying off.

3 year I believe

Yeah, it's a shame that it appears a lot of our players were hindered by Wade's vanilla 34 scheme.

Yeah I think they should wait on that. It has been awesome but Jerry doing that stuff has burnt us before.

3 years and he is making pocket change....lol We have been waiting for this guy to play like this since we drafted him. Injuries kept him back but now that he is healthy look out.

3 years, $6M.

Really? Score for us then.

Oh my looking like robbery.

Hatcher was impressive today. I know the Jets and 9ers don't have the most potent offenses, but it looks like Ryan has these guys on the right track. There are some lapses due to injuries in the secondary, but they are coming up big in spots where they did not in the recent past.

Don't want to turn this into a bash Garrett or wade but Ryan had the balls to put the better player on the field like hatcher and lee instead of forcing guys like Roy Williams barber and brooking to play.

RR finally using the guy correctly. My only question is does he stay healthy.

I thought our run defense struggles mightily without Spears in the starting lineup and an anorexic NT??????

Not to toot my own horn but my signature is about a year old.

I always found it funny when people assumed he was a weakness against the run. And I'll watch the games and see someone who was anchoring against the T-TE double team block as well as Spears. But oh well.

Those two sacks were big.. Good for him and good for the Cowboys... He's playing some good football.

Its the HC who makes the decisions on who plays. Not DC/OC.

Been waiting on anyone from the '06 draft to make a difference.

The point is this year we are playing the better player, not going off of "status".

Thats why I said Wade/Garrett. Whichever was responsible.

To be fair to Wade, Hatcher has been trying to play injured for much of his career. I do believe that he's even better with Ryan at the helm even though he's playing with good health.

I only really remember him having relatively minor injuries - strained groin, hamstring.

It's a shame it took him this long to get it going. He flashed a bit early in his career but never really turned the corner until this year, his 6th in the league.

I think it is more than a flash this time as his motor really seems to be going now. We now have a pretty good rotation at DE with Spears, Hatcher, Coleman and Lissemore. I have hopes that we'll see more from Geathers next year as I think Coleman was a stopgap solution for depth. We have been waiting for a long time for one of them to join Ratliff as effective rushers in the 4-man line.
