Hence the title "Hatcher Tweets" .. I gave my opinion on it now you can read in to it whatever you want. But I didn't exactly proclaim this to be a breaking story.

sorry man. i'm just in the old school of "let it happen before i make up my mind" and twitter flies in the face of that.

you don't know the convo. you don't know the mindset. you don't know the history outside what you read online. you got some out of the blue sentence online *you* twist into what you need it to be.

in my own experience, most people use twitter to enforce what they already believe in. usually wrong.

#hatcherisgoing so therefor, this twitter post enforces that when it has nothing to do with it.

you read into the "tweet" yet not happy someone read into your interp of said tweet.

funny.

I think what happens with Hatcher depends on what we do with Ware. Obviously if we release Ware, we have the money to sign Hatcher back.

Maybe the front office is deciding which guy is more important to keep for this year................I guess we will know soon.

Rather sign Melton than Hatcher unless you can get Hatcher on a 1 year deal. Signing Hatcher on a multiyear deal makes no sense to me.

Hatcher knows who is loyal to him

I love coach Marinelli to death!!! That guy is the true definition of Loyalty, need more guys like him in the world.

I take that as Jones is not loyal to him (money concern), but "coach" is trying to keep him...I can read between the lines with the best of um :D

heh, so i can't ask people to be a little bit smarter about their posts, but you can tell me to go away. :)

if this is the first time you've read my posts, or seen me posting, then yea. i've gone away. but also, i've been here awhile. i was here before here was here. even before it was something before that.

so if you've never seen me post before then you should realize my posting is very limited these days.

why?

cause of crap like this.

i have my own viewpoints. sure. we all do. and i could likely do a better job of getting them out. but the core seems to be

1. madden trades.
2. bash jones.
3. bash player xyz

and not much real thought going into it the logistics behind what moves any given poster is suggesting. i can see someone lambast jones for being a complete moron who ruined the team, then turn around and say we should trade ware.

if you don't get what i'm saying there, i honestly one day, you do.

so yea, i'm chime in from time to time and say what i wanna say. reply to the things like the rest of us, frustrate me.

but don't *ever* expect those frustrations to be the same.

berg,, please dont leave,, your one of the few reasons why I actually still rome around here.

Good lord fellas, how did this start an issue? It's so simple...tweets reflect or suggest SOMETHING about a person's mindset. The OP merely tried to offer the tweets as a piece of the puzzle, since we're all dying to see what goes down the next couple days here.

The first tweet could be that Marinelli is vouching for him to stay

He has been openly campaigning for it for weeks via social media. Honestly, I wish he would keep out of it. This should be a business decision, not an emotional one. No matter how "loyal" Marinelli is, he is not the one who has to create cap room to pay the 30 year old one year wonder.

He's gone, guys. The tweet about Marinelli all but confirms it. Doom/gloom, wailing and gnashing of teeth, hand-wringing, etc. etc.

The first time Hatcher makes a TFL next year in the pre-season in a Jaguars uniform, this forum is going to explode.

I don't think so. Most fans realize that he had one very good year when in Dallas. He has the ability to repeat his production from last year, but none if us are counting on it. He has had the ability for years, but it took a contract year to make him step up his level of play. Considering his age , cap hit and years of not playing up to his ability, I can't see many fans getting upset.

your schtick is getting old, no one but you will explode when an over-rated, over-paid player makes his first TFL

hey hatcher, how about your loyalty to the team?
understand that you are a 32 year old one year wonder and this team gave you a chance so show them some loyalty and give them a home town discount

always cracks me up when players want the team to be loyal but for them it is about feeding their family and a business decision
