Was just DUMB ! Look at all the quality players that went off in the 3rd. Stupid, stupid front ****** office. Everyone was praiseing them for staying put in th efirst and taking what was there, Then they cant help themselves and TRADE UP !!! In a really deep draft, and hamstring ourselves yet again ! (This is the rant zone right?) An A on day one, and a D on day 2. Would be an F but the player is not to blame. So we take a situational rusher - 2nd and 3rd down they said and it cost you the heart of this draft 47 and 78. Just really ****** DUMB... Martin good player, good pick. Lawrence maybe OK player - *** for a pick and trade. For months we have been told, Dallas needs to have a home run draft - 2,3 or 4 starters comming out of this. So we get 1 think about that 1. No matter what else we do, with 3 premium picks we got 1 starter and 1 situational pass rusher - FAIL...

Project pick must be code for "small school/never heard of the guy".

I don't care about him one way or the other, but there are plenty of scouting reports that say he is a project. About 50% of the ones read mentioned that he has a ton of work before starting. Broaddus said that he won't be a day one starter. Sounds like opinions are split.

He is a project player with potential but you would think he was amazing the way the Cowboys gave up their 3rd rounder. That trade was insane. This is why the Cowboys have sucked for almost 2 decades. They have NO IDEA what they are doing. Just when they go and make a good decision in the first round and you think they are turning a corner... BAM they go and make a horrible trade..with out division foe. They robbed us!

This team needs starters. It's hard to believe he wouldn't start on day 1 with how bad our defense is.

Seriously. Why the hell did we trade up to grab Demarcus? Our team has holes all over the place and we could have gotten a solid player if we would have just stood pat at the 15th pick in the second. Now we are sitting here with no 3rd rounder and instead our division foe gets the pick and we end up with yet another mystery project. This is such a head scratcher for me after they did so well with taking the BPA at 16 in the first round. This feels like the Escobar pick last year... I'm just disgusted.

Well.....A first I was pretty pissed too. But If you stop and think about it....In a normal draft you come away w/ 8 players. Right now going into day 3.... 1/2 the guys I had in my mock in the 3rd round are still available. There is a lot of talent still available....And we have 8 picks today alone. I don't like the idea of having to hit on day 3 picks to make a successful draft....but I still think we can have a hell of a draft. And we can start that by taking Telvin Smith Lber FSU

Jerry said Rod was Really high on him. If he comes in and gets a lot of pressures and 8 to 9 sacks I'll be happy. It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't but I'm not a scout. Just like last year when we compared Fredericks and Williams to Floyd this guy is going to get compared to the two guys we could have taken if we stayed put. That's pretty high expectations. I'm assuming he passed the mental toughness criteria since they had him in for a visit so hopefully he's up to the challenge.

They guy plays the run very good so IDK why everyone is thinking he's a project situational pass rusher only??? Lol
