If ,( and I mean if ) we end up losing this game in a close one, I will not be devastated, I will be very disappointed but not devastated .

This team has come a long way.

I think the coaching isn't to blame anymore ,if we lose, it will be because of execution by the players.

The only way I believe we lose is because of ourselves. We cannot have penalties .

Some may blame the coaches for that ,but for me, after all this time, I think it has to fall on the players concentration and responsibilities .

This all being said ,I feel really optimistic today.

I think we match up well and have that extra incentive.

I guess I posted this thread to help me get thru a possible loss and to have a moral victory for this year.

I hate moral victories, they usually are for losers .

I guess I'm posting this because, Maybe, I'm more nervous about this game than I let on to be.:(

I also can't understand superstitious people  What you do has no outcome for the game:cool:

It's getting close to game time so now, let me go and get ready for the game, and take my game day shower, put on my Cowboys gear ,( cowboy socks included) put the blanket on the railing ,put the flag on the porch, adjust my bobble head in his position , set up with my pillow and adjust my chair.

Go Cowboys:starspin:starspin:starspin:vikings:

Unless there is some really stupid clock management or terrible play calling, I agree. There comes a time where it's all laid on the players.
Today should be that day.

If we lose, you know the NFC East rivals will bag on us for months. It will be toxic over here, and those clowns from all over the states of NJ, PA, NY, CT, and Maryland, possible VA. Will talk endless amounts of **** to us. No matter what happened to their worthless scummy teams. Why waste my amo on these jealous insecure losers! To me watching New Orleans try and win a superbowl would be awful. I hate that team, and their bandwagon fanbase that is popping up in Maryland.

I feel we are the team to beat. Our team is playing like the Giants did in December/January 2008. Remember then?

I contemplated starting my first thread with a similar thought.

No matter what happens today, next week and/or Feb 7 it is a good time to be a Cowboys fan.

We have ourselves a TEAM. A very very good and young team that I don't believe has reached it's potential.

The anticipation we have leading up to these games is what it's all about. The winning is almost anti-climatic in a way.

We should be able to enjoy this feeling of having an honest contender for a few years to come before it starts over again.

A loss today would be disappointing but it will not change the fact that the Dallas Cowboys are back!

I will NOT be happy with a lose today.

These kinds of opportunities do not happen often. We don't know when we'll be back.

We need to seize this opportunity and win NOW !!!

Heck, it may be another 13 years before we get back here.

What I think a whole lot of people are not realizing is, we are no further than our team was in 2007. The 2007 team won their wild card round game too, with a bye.

Not advancing beyond the divisional round is not really progress, in my opinion.

We've come a long way and with Tony Romo and this defense, I'm pretty confident this won't be our last Super Bowl push.
But I don't expect a loss today.

I'm OK with either outcome but if they play up to their potential, I think they'll likely win simply because the Vikes seem to have leveled off and the Boys are peaking.

If game breaks and officiating are roughly equal, I think the Boys win. Of course, if they start playing stupid and getting foolish drive-killing penalties then anything can happen. Up until lately, that was the story of this team but the last month or so they have been on a tear that I think means Minny is in trouble and Favre's dream will be put on hold so Romo's dream can continue through the intersection in route to New Orleans.

I'm just happy to see them playing as a team again; this year's team is definitely addition by subtraction.

Eat your heart out, T. O.

I want to win bad, but if we have to lose, I would almost rather lose to the Vikings than the Saints. I live on the Gulf Coast so it would be h#ll to have to listen to the bad wagon jumpers.

Oh, don't be fooled, they are the biggest bandwagon team in the world, bar none. 95% of the people around here will tell you that they don't care about the NFL, they just watch college football, and it's true. That is until the Saints make the playoff's then thousands of fans come right out of the woodwork and start saying "Who Dat".

This is like asking which way I'd prefer to die.

But if it came down to it, I'd rather lose in the NFC championship game than the divisional round.

I feel the same way. Win or lose, I am proud the way the Cowboys have played this season. Going into the season, I said I was happy if the Cowboys just would win 1 playoff game, but after saying that, I will disappointed if they lose today. Lets go Cowboys. Lets keep this train rolling.
