Hate to say it but this almost has to be another defense-heavy draft

i'd love to get notre dame de isaiah foskey.
witherspoon,cb-illinois would be awesome opposite diggsy.

DT talent needed.
A specific type of Mike with speed, power, ability to cover -- needed.
CB needed IF Brown/Lewis isn't resigned, and Joseph or Wright doesn't pan out. Diggs, Bland, and various others make this a possible, but not a mandatory.
S - need to make sure they resign D Wilson because he and J Kearse are the key to DQuinns defense. Hooker and Mukuamu - no need
DE -- DLaw, SWilliams, Armstrong, Fowler --- with Parsons getting some of the plays. Not needed unless it is a Will Anderson.

QB - Married to Dak now and can't get financially out of it for a while. Don't care which side your are on this one, Dak is the starter. Backup could be updated though.
C/G - is McGovern resigned? several options but could use another.
T -- Smith, Smith, Steele (if resigned), a couple young guys. Maybe a resign of Peters. --- Dallas is fine here.
TE - even if Schultz is gone you still have Ferguson and Hendershot.........unless a Mayer drops to here, not needed.
WR - CeeDee OK, Gallup has lost it. Turpin good. So another legit threat would be great here. Quinton Johnston please......

So DT, MLB, WR, and maybe a C/G is the needs, but BPA is the way to go for at least the first couple rounds.

The draft is an upgrade game. Good evaluations of your own players, good evaluations of the fit of the players you want to draft, and lots of luck are needed.

I think TE and WR will get some big play. Jerry will want to draft another Wideout. Gallop might be toast and CeeDee will cost big money. We need more difference makers at WO then just CeeDee. Turpin is a good KO/Punt returner. He's not built to play wide out. Too short and not enough meat on the bones. Dude weighs about 155 lbs. PS. Yes to a DT, but Jerry and/or Mike don't like to draft them high and after Trystan Hill crashed and burned they probably won't make that mistake again.

IDK about that, but I do know that we need to go all out at DT if we ever want to sniff a super bowl. Need a starting LB early also, so that should be our first 2 picks.

While I agree with what you write....What DL or LB is worth a 1st round pick?

Siaka Ika/Mazi are the only two interior DL that I think might have a chance. They might fall clear to 3 or go in 1.
and Pappoe due to his speed, although he has never played up to his potential, could be the LB.

I just don't see Jerry allowing it when Gallup lost a step and can't get separation, and Brown is not dynamic at all. They wouldn't be looking to OBJ at all if Jerry didn't want another dynamic WR.

I don't start researching the draft until after the season. However, the constant drafting of WRs and CBs in the first couple of rounds is a huge reason why we can't win in the playoffs. It has got to change if we ever want another super bowl win.
