Jaylon/LVE looks better when they have defensive tackles that clog up the middle and Safeties who can actually cover and make plays. Also that Monster (Parsons) rushing the passer lent a hand as well.

I’m not the football savant that many on here are (or at least claim to be), nevertheless, I thought last year that the lack of a legit and consistently productive defensive presence in the middle of the d-line (coupled with learning a completely new scheme with COVID restricted time limits on prepping for the season) made both of them look far worse than they really are. I thought Jaylon and LVE played very well today.
