I'm going to rewatch the game at some point, but the first look just showed me that I should take my hat off to Dom Capers and the Green Bay Defense. They played like their season was on the line and we just could not match their intensity. Dom Capers outcoached Garrett and our O-Line had no answer for their pass rush.

But, we went 1-1 on a road trip against two teams with winning recods who figure to be in the playoff mix come December and 4-1 in our last five games. If we defend our home turf the next two games, then we will go to New York at 8-3 and still in first place in the East.

I am pretty bummed about our performance yesterday, but if we can simply win the next two games, I would personally will take it.

Being pissed off about a 6-3 record means the Cowboys have been performing well of late. It's frustrating that the offense was outplayed yesterday, but it isn't indicative of what this offense is capable of. The injuries concern me and the decision to not run the ball is troubling. Balance is the key on offense. The defense is playing GREAT these days. We must beat the lowly Deadskins. They beat a Denver team that is on the decline, but it proves they still have a pulse. We need to put them away early and never let up.

I do think Marc Colombo breaking his leg on the second sewries ceretainly hurt the OLine continuity. I sure hope they can adjust.

Kudos to the GB D, but a few bounces here or there an the outcome is different. Romo and Rodgers had similar stats, but that missed FG and redzone turnover hurt.

I guess all the complaining by Cullen Jenkins and Charles woodson paid off, because that packer defense was 10 times more aggressive than they were the previous 2 weeks.

Frustrating is the perfect word IMO.

I was mad, upset and so on but mostly frustrated because I know that offense can do better. We just ran into a buzzsaw blade of a team that was playing for it's season...they lose and that team is done for the year. Still that is no excuse for the offense to play the way it did.

I also don't think the Skins game is an automatic win like some do. The two teams always have a slobber knocker of a game and I think it has been some time since we have swept them. This is no gimme and will be a hard fought game if we want to win it. There is no way this team can go into that game with the mentality of they just have to show up to win.

Frustrating...yes that is the perfect word.

Dallas has always struggled against Capers and his defense. Nothing new there. Packers put together a great game plan. Came hittin and put the Cowboys in bad situations. Cowboys couldn't overcome them.

Regroup this week. Hopefully beat the deadskins. Must win game. Like they all are IMO.

Losing Columbo though? Ouch, that one is bad. What a hurdle to overcome in finding a replacement.

I am not about to give Capers nor GB credit for anything. Yes, I am a sore loser and I will be absolutely shocked if GB makes the playoffs...

Capers became a genius a week after his defense gave up 38 points to TB? Sorry no sale. More like the offense, particularly the O Line decided to go on vacation.

His Defense didn't give up 38 to the Bucs. There was a blocked punt for a touchdown and an interception for a touchdown. That is 14 of the points, which means that only 24 were actually given up by the Defense.

On to that 24, here are the Bucs Drives:
Touchdown #1 - Two plays, 8 Yards. This due to an interception by Rogers.

Field Goal - 12 plays, 74 yards

Touchdown #2 - 3 plays, seventeen yards. Long Kickoff return set up an easy score from seventeen yards out.

Touchdown #3 - 8 plays, 72 yards

So, of that 24 points, only 10 points were based on a Drive of over twenty yards. That doesn't sound like the Defense lost the game for them.

Did our last 4 wins say anything about the Cowboys? We went out and played a bad game and to the Packers credit they played well. All this game says about Dallas is we are 6-3 with some work to do.

...dude...the only team that scored less than the Cowboys against this team is Detroit...and they were just :38 short of that...now are these Cowboys a good team, a playoff team, a championship team or what...we all need to decide exactly what they are...oh, i forget...they don't even know...funny how a rookie quarterback can lead a team to victory and a pro-bowl one can't...and i say this only to make a point, not to bash Romo...

...the Cowboys had no business losing that game...period...

...how many times are we going to watch these total meltdowns to learn that this team can't be trusted with a potato gun...they got punched in the mouth and proceeded to lay down...

...if they had been playing a team with a real offense yesterday they'd have taken another 44-6 drubbing and then how would they defend that?

...the offense had that team on the field for a whole quarter more than Green Bay...it's no wonder they suffered injury, dejection and ultimately collapse...garbage dude, plain garbage...

Honestly, what's frustrating to me is the fact that it appears JG was completely outclassed...........AGAIN. Now, don't get me wrong, the O-line play was horrible, Romo was off his mark on a couple of big plays that could have changed the entire landscape of the game (high passes to Bennett and Austin), failed blitz pick-ups, etc.

What was REALLY unnerving, despite the shortcomings of some players themselves, was the fact that it SEEMED the Packers knew EVERY PLAY that was coming. Now, this could all be coincidence, or once again Garret has become exactly what Reed, Lewis, and others had said last season. Completely predictable. It was right around this time last season when the Cowboys offense struggled to produce. Is this a repeat or a bump in the road?

Time will tell.

Capers through us off our game and GB offense did a great job of moving the chains.

Hopefully our offensive protection doen't slack off too much

We played a professional football team that was playing for it's playoff life in their house. Their Defense is pretty good regardless of what some people here think (4th in the NFL in Yards from Scrimmage going into yesterday) and they executed their gameplan to perfection.

Dallas could have/should have played better than they did, but they were outschemed and outexecuted by Green Bay. For that, the Packers deserve credit. Why is 4-1 in the last five games so terrible to so many people around here?

the most frustrating thing is that even with their backs against the wall and things not going our way.. early on.. the game was STILL there for the taking...

Folk's missed FG.. hurt psychologically.. you always want to get up early on the road and feel like your drive counted..

Romo missed a Wide open Austin in the endzone on that same drive...

Then the Williams fumble...

we still had a great opportunity to sieze control... great teams win this type of game.. we just aren't a great team yet. A good one but not great

His defense did not give up 38 to TB...but yes, to some degree they were flat overall in that game.
