Seriously, the man (Jerry) gets a lot of hate from all of us, but he has truly built a fantastic roster with great personnel and has used his son Stephen, and McClay perfectly to put this team in contention for a hopefully beautiful playoff run. He has nailed the draft for a decade, he has been blessed with the QB play, and has made the right trades to add great pieces (Cooper, Parsons) to the team and also has had no problem admitting mistakes (Jaylon).

I have been very impressed with the team, the franchise, and he has also built a stadium that is a modern marvel, a training site that feels like a Videogame CGI, and increased his investment of $140 million dollars, (About 360 million on today's money) into a whopping $6.5 Billion.

Let's hope it all turns out beautifully, the fan base deserves it and he does as well for a nice retirement gift.

Amazing - all it takes is one dominating win against a bottom feeding team who was decimated by covid and injuries and the praise starts flowing. Maybe I missed something but I'm pretty sure the super bowl wasn't played last night.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy beating the crap out of teams, but it would be so much more enjoyable beating up on a team like Green Bay.

My hat isn’t coming off until I see how we do in the playoffs. The season isn’t over yet. There won’t be anyone taking their hat off to Jerry if the team goes one and done or doesn’t get past the divisional round.

If this team doesnt got far, it not because Jerry didnt pay for a good enough roster to make it happen.

Jerry is willing to spend, sometimes to much.
I can see Jerry changing things up next year.
If we get close or win the SB, Jerry rolls the dice.
He'll extend Dak, maybe even Mahomes type deal.
Start reworking several contracts and reup important pieces that might want to depart.
Add in more youth and then
Jerry will go down to Georgia,
he's in a bind, way behind looking to make a deal.

He'll... extend Dak?
Again?

And he already went down to Georgia.
He's been on record saying he'd sell his soul again, if he could.

you gonna have to credit him with this Super Bowl this season too

If that happens I, for one, will give him credit. Last I checked it hasn't happened in 26 years, though, so I'm still holding off on it.

Jerry sure getting a lot of attaboys today. :muttley:
