JJ is 5th in total rushing yards in the NFL, and all 4 players above him have played 5 games, Julius has played 4 games. His avg this season is 4.5 ypc. Heres to hoping he can keep it up and take the lead rushing yards against the texans!

love the way he's running. A real bright spot so far.

oops didnt realize someone else had posted these stats
:bang2: sorry

Impressive... considering BP "ruined" him.

Where are all those mental midgets that were complaining that BP ruined JuJo's game?

They gonna be man enough to give credit where credit is due?

Of course not.

Of course not.

Just imagine what he could do behind a real line if Parcells thought it important enough to address it.

JJ was the only bright spot in yesterday's game. And, one more Bledsoe gaffe that we saw yesterday was the blown play to JJ at the goal line. It went a little unnoticed because MBIII scored on the next play. But when they shot over to JJ On the sidelines he was PISSED! Even the commentators made a comment about Bledsoe's confusion on the play. O.K. done Bledose bashing for this this thread. Sorry.

Oh, and Kudos JJ!

I've been watching this game again in spurts but our offensive line is doing great at run blocking. If we can get the pass protection shored up, we'll be fine.

OK..J Trotter in another post said they gameplanned to keep only 7 in the box vrs. the run.................

7 in the box defensivly vrs. 5 off. linemen and 2 TE, plus a FB .......everyone in the box had a blocker.........

shouldnt JJ have run for 150 plus?

If he gets a few more touches at the endzone he'll definitely be in the pro bowl...

Which is awesome considering the doubters we had.

He is clearly the best running back in the nfc east right now.

If only our team could simply perform as well as it looks on paper. Hopefully Bledsoe and a few players on the line just took a mental holiday. And will be back from now on.

sbark, that is a base nfl defense... you don't usually have 8 people in the box. And no team in the nfl is going to be able to keep 8 guys in the box against our offense...

That means you only have 3 people in the secondary against terrell owens, jason witten, terry glenn, and anthony fasano... not to mention a running back if they're on a pass route...

thats 4-5 against 3... and a pretty scary 4-5 against 3...

Real line? Let's see you have a pro bowl left tackle in Adams coming back from knee surgery, a new left guard (needs chemistry with Adams), a pretty good center by all accounts who by the way hasn't played the position consistantly in three years, a Rivera isn't bad but certainly not great, and a guy in Colombo who's had knee problems however was a first round pick...I'll take my chances

Yeah but I really like Marion Barber's toughness and he'll be starting by week 6 because he's the superior back...

just kiddin.

Of course not.

Just like mediots such as JJT will never admit they were wrong about Julius not being able to run without Lousaka Polite blocking for him and/or with two tight ends on the field.

I just hope he keeps it up for the rest of the season. It seems like he is hitting holes alot better. But like I said keep it JJ. With him running like this I think we can go a long way.

I just gotta say... I love our running backs. JJ and MB3 are just an explosive combo with just enough difference in style to confuse the defenses we play. MB3 would start for alot of teams, but I hope he plays here in Dallas with Julius for years to come. They are both just dynamite... if one moves anywhere I hope its to Baltimore (Jamal Lewis looks done) so I can continue to watch them play. Hopefully Jerry finds in his wallet a way to keep em both.

No doubt Jones was a bright spot of the offense and it is too bad his efforts have been overlooked. Thus far he is having a pretty darn good season.
