... But I hope they do win!

-At Denver. Big home field advantage.
-Our historical record vs. Broncos.
-One of league's best defense this year so far. Denver may put that high-flying offense on hold. Once Dak gets shutdown, he stays that way. Denver has most sacks in the NFL. Perfect for a team like ours that will struggle if offense can't come out on top.
-They have a great future franchise QB, squirmy guy too. Payton plays to his inexperience and opportunities.
-Greenlaw is suspended but he hasn't played much. Their defense did all that without him.
-Broncos have one of the highest YPC running average in NFL, don't think our Boys can stop them
-3-4 defense, going to mess with our entirely young offensive line who hasn't played much against it.
-They're on a 4 game win streak, momentum is strong.

Just seems like this has been the track record not only in McCarthy and Dak years, but before them too. Looks like most of our losses are now agains teams with winning records, and vice versa for the wins. If we had a great defense that could hold their own against Denver, I'd give us more of a shot.

If our Boys do pull it off, it could be a season changer and put them on track for Playoff contention.

Anyone else feeling that way? What should we be optimistic about in this matchup? I'm really surprised the line is only -2.5 for Denver's favor.

Any given Sunday but in week 8 we know Denver is the balanced team and the better coached team.

The wildcard is our offense and STs which are very potent so it should be a great watch

You should. Good defense and on the road. True test for this Cowboys team and may determine we are buyers.

Yes, I feel this way.

I don’t like our history against the Broncos, and I don’t like this specific matchup any better.

History means nothing but the conditions do. Denver is physical, they play on grass and the altitude will be the Cowboys undoing. I would like to see a win as well but it isn’t happening. This is a matchup problem.

George Dunham on the Ticket was saying that apparently Denver has been one of the poorest kickoff coverage teams and we've been close to breaking one, so Turpin could be a factor.

Nope, just think this is a bad matchup for us.
and you think it is a "Good," Matchup for Denver? Well if we win, I will put up a nice picture from the game flipping the bird to the scoreboard for you.

I have a great pic from 2014 flipping the bird to this huge 12th man poster after we went into Seattle and smacked them, stopping their impressive home winning streak.

do we have all of your predictions on record this year?

It's a test that's for sure. Payton is one of the top coaches in the league. He got there and had nothing. Survived the Wilson debacle too. They play hard and they have been stout defensively. Bo Nix is a gamer. The altitude is a major factor. It will be a tough one.

History doesn’t mean anything but Denver is just a better team. Their defense will be a challenge and I don’t see us being gritty enough to win in Denver. It’s the kind of game I cops see the where coming off and getting blown out. Hope I’m wrong and I’ll gladly eat crow.
