... But I hope they do win!
-At Denver. Big home field advantage.
-Our historical record vs. Broncos.
-One of league's best defense this year so far. Denver may put that high-flying offense on hold. Once Dak gets shutdown, he stays that way. Denver has most sacks in the NFL. Perfect for a team like ours that will struggle if offense can't come out on top.
-They have a great future franchise QB, squirmy guy too. Payton plays to his inexperience and opportunities.
-Greenlaw is suspended but he hasn't played much. Their defense did all that without him.
-Broncos have one of the highest YPC running average in NFL, don't think our Boys can stop them
-3-4 defense, going to mess with our entirely young offensive line who hasn't played much against it.
-They're on a 4 game win streak, momentum is strong.
Just seems like this has been the track record not only in McCarthy and Dak years, but before them too. Looks like most of our losses are now agains teams with winning records, and vice versa for the wins. If we had a great defense that could hold their own against Denver, I'd give us more of a shot.
If our Boys do pull it off, it could be a season changer and put them on track for Playoff contention.
Anyone else feeling that way? What should we be optimistic about in this matchup? I'm really surprised the line is only -2.5 for Denver's favor.
