Convenient that you left out 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013. Dak had time to throw. He had protection. Dak has weapons. Romo couldn't get it done.. how many times do I have to acknowledge that for it to sink in? This isn't about Romo though. This is about Dak. This is about Dak failing to live up to his paycheck in big moments. He chokes. He's an epic choker and Romo has nothing to do with that. But you can't stand that. With you it's either or. Either Dak or Romo...but that's not how it works. Both can fail to get it done.

Dak will never get it done. He played like a lost little rookie against a 7-th seed in a home game. He's a great guy off the field. He's even a decent player in the regular season. But come playoff time? Choke.
You don't even understand football. Did you even play it? It's extremely hard to do well as a QB in the playoffs when your Oline stinks, you have no running game, a young and inexperienced TE and only 1 legit WR who is covered. Plus, absolutely no Defense. Horrible Defense that allowed 7 TDs on 8 drives to your opponent.

It's extremely lazy to blame it on any QB having to play under such circumstances.

I did play football. But Dak's O-line didn't stink. He had time to throw. But he STILL continues to laser focus on a first read and won't go through progressions. He still makes the same mistakes in big moments. Yes, other parts of the team sucked. But you see no-name QB's making big plays to no-name receivers in big moments all of the time. You never see that with Dak. When Dak gets rattled, that's it, they 3 and out or get intercepted and put the defense back on the field, exhausting it more. Yes, we need a run game. That doesn't excuse Dak's multiple years of choking at the position. He NEVER steps up when other parts of the struggle. Everything has to be running perfect for him to shine. That's the sign of a choker or bus driver. He can't get it done and never will. He'll go down in history as someone who couldn't win the big one.

Parsons is turning into another Ware. Never shows up on the playoffs.
Someone put it best earlier:
He's not built to be an edge rusher. He needs to be kept as a LB because having him do anything else just wears him down over the season.

Wonder how he’d look in a 3-4 where the defense doesnt know if he’s coming all the time and we can use that to our advantage

Our D was ranked 5 in the league this year genius, our oline was also ranked top 10, cd lamb was the top receiver this year. Kill that noise that we didn't have any weapons
Top 5 Defense in total yardage average (300 / game), but 6th in pass D, 16 in run D. Add both, divide by 2: 11th ranked overall in run + pass.

Where was this top 5 Defense today?

CeeDee was the 2nd best ranked WR. 67 total rushing yards by our RBs. Where was the rushing attack to help out?

I think his skillset is perfect for the 3-4. I don't think we have the defensive personnel for it otherwise though and given all of the needs the team has, it would be a couple of years before we would have the personnel for it.

Man, this is a tough one. If I'm making the decisions I'm gonna think long and hard about handing out record setting contracts to players that may or may not show up in big games vs what we could possibly get in a trade.

H—- no, not handing out any record monies after what I just witnessed. But the Clampetts will do just that and bring everyone back for a rerun and you will just see the same next year, year 30.

You are reaching here. Don't do that. If it's that simply they are not worthily of the stupid numbers they will command . nuff said. We need dawgs, not jags.
Yep. Hating against the black men. Cool.

Gee. Maybe the Packers schemed to take them out of the game.

that happens and others need to step up.

go watch some football instead of playing fantasy all day
Hahahahaha. The excuses I see for certain players. If a team like the Packers can scheme your top offensive performer and defensive guy out the game completely, then maybe that says a lot about who they are.

Parsons has not made one single play of significance in his career in the playoffs.

Top players who make top money elevate in the playoffs. Those 2 guys are bums in the playoffs. Oh but hey, they were just schemed out of the game, no biggie. Because teams never ever try to scheme your best players out a game, it's just usually it doesn't happen often because they are too good and they adjust and beat your scheme.

The defense sucked. Everyone pretty much sucked, but who touches the ball on offense every play? Who threw two interceptions that lead to scores for the other teams? Who gets such a high percentage of the cap?
Nobody gets an excuse. Not even your precious Choke Prescott.

However, if the offense goes 3 and out or throws interceptions often in the early game, it puts the defense on the field longer and exhausts them faster. That's simple football 101. It's why we need a run game for ToP control. We have small, fast defenders. They can't hold up without that ToP. Yeah, they sucked. They failed. But that doesn't excuse Dak for once again choking in big moments.
Lmao. The defense put themselves on the field for half the 1st qtr and gave up 7. They were lost from the start and it never got better. They made GB punt onw single time. Didn't even come close to a turnover. Wide open players you would see in the high school state games that were here last month.

This whole defense is full of overhyped spares. All of them. They only look good against crap offenses. Same goes for the offense.

I see too many of yall coddle everyone except Dak. Sure, he sucked today but there's plenty of others making big money or about to that looked disinterested and soft.

Defense set the tone today that they weren't stopping GB at all. And they didn't.

I understand why you'd post this reply because you didn't see my other posts declaring that the defense sucked and multiple players (on both sides of the ball) need to be shown the door. Those players don't take up as large a percentage of the cap though. Those players don't handle the ball every time the offense is on the field.

There are many players on the team that the team would be better off without. There are a few that shouldn't get paid come contract time. Jerry will keep most of them and overpay the ones he shouldn't. He won't do what's best for the team in regards to post-season success because he doesn't have to. How am I excusing the defense when I started the post with the defense sucked? There are certain things you need to do when you have undersized, fast defenders in the defense we run...one is control time of possession. That means no interceptions and 3 and outs early, or at least limit them.

Does that excuse the defense? No. Quinn's decision-making was inexplicable in how he called the game. The defenders played like garbage. Still no excuse for Stats Prescott though. Parsons needs to be kept at LB or just not paid. He's undersized for being an edge rusher all season. He looks fantastic at it early in the season and declines from there. Other defenders seem like paycheck collectors rather than guys who work hard for post-season success.

Totally clueless. You clearly didn't play it unless you count your years as backup on jr varsity in some Podunk Texas town.

Romo didn't have the oline or D that Dak had. Romo still knows more about football than Dak ever will.

Yes, let's mess with our clear best two players. Let's blame them for a franchise culture that was set in stone before either were born.

As if their prospect of winning a Super Bowl doesn't dramatically improve the moment they leave Dallas lol
