Have we become so used to Jerry that anytime he does bare minimum we praise him?

"Why are you a fan?" is intended as an insult. Not sure why you're pretending it's not. Start a poll and you'll see that the huge majority think of it as such.
If people perceive it that way, truly, I’ll never ask a question again
I’m not here to belittle anybody, I don’t have an agenda, maybe that’s the difference, people think you’re trying to attack them, and I guess I can understand that

This is a genuine question from someone that has seen this happen time and time again
You've seen this front iffice move the way they have been lately time and time again?

Maybe your perception is tainted, and I can understand that. But here is a quote that I think apply applies to this thread.

“The illiterate of the twenty-first century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” Alvin Toffler

Decades of failure has fostered many, many, many casual fans who would find positives in a winless season. Even if we do nothing for the next five years, there are people who will recall the Q trade as proof Jerry cares about winning. The bar is very low. Having said that, this is still the most hopeful I've been in the last few years. If the overhyped Pats can go to the Super Bowl....

This is such a weird take. Where are these pro Jerry fans you speak of?

This is such a weird response. Is this your first season here? I know it isn't. You don't have to be "pro Jerry" to be infected by his culture of mediocrity.
How much , I am about as close ,as you can get, to pro Jerry, he had a phenomenal life,
That’s actually the most I’ve seen around here, ever

No, you said this:

"there are people who will recall the Q trade as proof Jerry cares about winning."

Where are these people at? Where's this cult of people who think Jerry cares about winning?

I feel like you guys do this knowing if anyone did think that its a small minority.

I was wrong, the game kicks off in New England at 8:20, Netflix said 620, but that’s pregame, which they don’t tell you

That's not the same as saying they love Jerry. That's saying that he's at least serious about winning or that he hears the clock ticking.

A small minority? That's why the Death Star sells out consistently? 60% of the people there are looking at their phones or fighting. That's why they are the most valuable team going on forever? Because they don't have a legion of casual fans?

Cowboys have fans. I’m one of them. I assume everyone here is one of them. I’m not debating that. We root for them in spite of Jerry not because we thinks he cares about winning.

Genuinely curious, and this isnt to spark an angry debate.

This is a genuine question from someone that has seen this happen time and time again and wants to gauge why this happens here all the time.

Have we as a fanbase, become so used to Jerry and his family failing, that any time he does the BARE MINIMUM of his job description, we praise him for it?

Are we this conditioned by his terrible off-seasons that when he does literally the bare minimum of signing a guy on time or using FA the way everyone else does we celebrate it like we just won our 6th?

Why do fans who are justifiably upset and taking a wait and see approach ostracized so much on this site?

I am excited about the moves that were made, but I am cautiously optimistic mainly because I have 0 faith in the head coach of this team.

Can they prove me wrong, of course, and I will be the first to admit it, but can we stop praising people for showing up to work?
I see it as the opposite, every time he opens his mouth (a lot) Cowboy fans here and elsewhere sarcastically bash the heck out of him and what he says. He can say I like sunshine and puppies are awesome and someone would start a thread here to say how incompetent and useless he is.

Yes, 90+% of the people here perceive that as an insult. That is how it's used on here. Repeatedly. I'm really surprised you didn't know.
