...or are we going to have a miraculous turnaround and win 3 games on the road, thanking our lucky stars all the way to the Super Bowl?

Our only significant injury ALL YEAR has been to Greg Ellis. The opportunity was there to do something really special in the weak NFC. We have been outcoached, outplayed, and outmotivated the latter part of this season. What a waste of a completely healthy season.

I forgot to mention that the special teams coverage has gotten worse over the last few games. All of these things add up to nullify the injury-free season. We may not be this lucky next season.

The Ellis injury hurt us more than we wanted to admit at the time. We lost the only other guy that could get constant pressure on a QB.

You make a very good point. Although, I think we were 7-3 last year when Flozell went down. That one injury hurt us a bunch last year.

This is an excellent post. It speaks volumes about the makeup of this team that losing one starter essentially finshed them.

Yeah...that's the thing that kills me in this.

We've had damn near ZERO injuries. Ellis was a loss, indeed.

But outside of that, it's almost spooky how few injuries we had.

And unless we come up big in the playoffs, it was all wasted.
