Have any of you ever met someone that just seems so right. It's strange to meet someone that both people have the exact same interests... for instance...

I met someone recently and we went to a museum and here I am thinking I'll have to go look at some boring art and while getting the tickets she's like OOOHHH lets go look at the Arms, and Armor! I was like Yeah! Now the only thing thus far we don't have in common is she doesn't like "American" football, and she even admitted it's more cause she knows nothing about it.

well I'm coming out of a relationship of 10years, and not 100% sure how to proceed. I can honestly say I have more in common with her than any woman I've ever met.

Now there is one issue, but I'll wait a day to tell what that is...

Congrats. Hope things work out.

Word of advice - tell her about certain players on the team. Romo's an easy one to like with his story and you see him all the time.

If you can get her emotionally invested in the team it will suck her in.

one good thing about her not liking football up to now, is she's from Philly so I can mold her into a Cowboy fan, if things work out... lol

I'm single and dating and the best advice I can give you is to take it slow.

If there is real magic there it'll be there three months from now as well. I've dated girls that I thought were perfect for the first month and we clicked on what seemed like everything then things fell apart. So pursue this and have a good time but don't get get so emotionally wrapped up that it tears you apart when it ends.

Best of luck with this and hopefully she really is your dream girl.

oh I agree with ya... I've dated many women over the past 20 years, but for most men we have to "act" like we are interested in some of the things they are into cause we think she's "hot" and feel like if we can make her think we are interested we might stand a chance. it's like a game of "smoke and Mirrors" when you first meet and date someone... This time for me atleast there is none of that. Oh and I'm not gonna get emotionally wrapped up for the reason I'll disclose a little later...

Jack, I thought you are married and that's your wife's pic in the avatar. From the Member pics thread. I seem to remember that pic and one of your 5 kids.

Am I way the heck off base?

Age is just a number Jack. Happiness isn't.

Sorry to pry about the marriage and sorry that you're going through that.

That might be an issue but it ain't no problem, Jack! I say more power to you. I jumped to the wrong conclusion earlier...this is more like "As Good As It Gets," not the "Crying Game." Wheww!

I was 35 when I went thru a divorce and dated a 22 yr old. By the time I backed out of her driveway picking her up for the first date, I knew that I had exhuasted everything we had to talk about. Hated her music, hated the way she talked, (every reply started with the word "like") She was hot tho and after being married to a June Cleaver for 12 yrs, it was NICE....

Good luck with the young thing. But give it a few months, you might find there are lot more differences than similarities. She may still want 5 kids and you might already feel done wtih having them. Especially when child support kicks in. I bought my ex wifes new husband some nice trucks over the years....
