We all have our opinions. Some like the draft, some don't. Some like Zeke and Jalen, and some do not. We all know there are those of us who have questions about the FO, and there are those with opposing views.

It's time to move forward!!! During your arguments and debates, remember this. Most of us are all diehard Cowboy fans. We all should want our team to do well. We all should want Zeke to become the best RB in football, and Dak to have a stellar career after Tony is finished. Regardless of how you feel about drafting Jalen Smith in Round 2, you should have a huge desire for him to heal up and become the best LB in football.

In all of our future disagreements, I want you all to know this. I have a huge desire to see the Boyz return to greatness. I will never question your fandom either. Let's get behind everyone of these draft picks, even those who haven't played football since 7th grade, and hope they all have HOF careers.

We all know this. But sometimes we forget. Nothing wrong with rededicating ourselves to the task at hand, and that is to try to move past our biases, grievances and disappointments. Other teams are in worse straits and with less talent, so I can't find it within myself to do a lot of crying. OK, onward and thanks for the reminder.

Its just a leftover of the 4-12 year.

And combined with the disappointment of the suspensions.

Adversity has to make the players want to overcome.

Its not the FOs fault about the injuries and the draft cannot be the salvation.

Its about the players.

They have to step up now.

Excellent post.................draft is over with and if somebody is pissed their pet cat didn't get drafted, or felt that taking a RB was stupid, or drafting an injured player was a waste, or thought Jerry should have gave the 3rd for Lynch, or whatever.................LET IT GO!!!

Time to focus on rookie mini-camp coming up.

Get out of heah, ya big lug. No, no. It's just something in my eye.
Ya know, in a thousand gin joints and a thousand deadends sometimes we forget what is important. Like Old Gory waving from the Sunday school, Walter Brennan teaching Little Luke how to drive the tractor . . . it comes down to old time values, like camp meetings and hot-rod runs in the desert at night. Down home adversity is what made us. Yeah, tell it to the Marines, our injuries and drugs and whatnot and empty drafts. Suspensions. Yeah, the players have to step up but so do the fans, beer guzzlers, NASCAR gazers and the Rosie Riverters of our time, the Hooter gals.
It wont be easy, but, together we can see it through because you are right, the players have to do it. God bless us one and all.

This is why I don't study players any more. Personally, I loved the draft since I knew no one.

I read a ridiculous response on another thread earlier and a light went on.
And I want to apologize to all of you I thought the central interest on the Cowboyzone was
the Dallas Cowboys but it hit me that the real interest is arguing with the topic being the Dallas Cowboys.
I'm slow.

Arguing and debating have seemed to become blended. I agree 100% with moving on and supporting the players, but expressing different viewpoints as to how those players perform, FO decisions, etc. should always be allowed and not frowned upon as being negative. Everyone is either glass half full or empty, don't hate the empty perspectives "just cuz" either, etc. You need both perspectives to avoid ignorance and groupthink; The Ranch Forum.

This applies more to regular posting instead of immediately post draft when emotion/adrenaline is still heavily involved and a cool off period is needed to regain perspective; good or bad.

Uh....Sports Forums will always have back and forth heated discussions about players. Pretty sure we all know this and the NFL is entertainment. It's fun to hear all the angles and sides of peoples opinions. Don't see the need to say move forward.

Always love your editorial style!

A little Walter Wenchel and a whole lot of Edward R Morrow.

I can hear the London Air Raid claxons in the background and the search lites sweeping the clouds.

It is definitely time to stop and enjoy football again.

I feel renewed.

I'm hoping Romo gets bigger shoulder pads this year..thats all.

I think we should all be grateful. It could have been much much worse....albeit.. trade down city al a 2009:banghead:

Trust me when I say...I've tried every mock draft machine out there. And we didn't come out too bad in the real deal.;)
