Haven't beaten team with winning record

Who's talking Superbowl? I see most talking playoffs. I don't see that as unreasonable, do you?

I am talking Super Bowl.
This is a different team.
I am becoming more confident in them.
I wasn't really confident with past teams of Romo era.

We can talk Super Bowl because the nfl is different. Get hot, be smart, get a little lucky and you are in.

That's a bit loaded since we played both the Texans and Seattle when they had winning records. The season is still young so we don't know what the final records will be.

I'm talking Super Bowl too, and folks are talking about whether we are the best team in the league. It's a legit conversation. I'm just looking at who we played and despite what it looked like at the time we haven't played a team that is playing great football yet.

I think an argument can be made that we are playing great football since we have been able to win games when losing the turnover battle and making special teams mistakes. But fact is that we have yet to play a team playing great themselves. Those games are still in front of us.

Obviously we are playing fantastic, but 7 games into the season none of the teams we have beaten have a winning record.

SF is the only team we have played with a winning record. A lot of reasons we lost that game and perhaps we should have beaten them. But let's say we do win that game then SF doesn't have a winning record either.

We have Arizona, Indy, and the Eagles twice left on our schedule. The season is in front of us. We haven't done anything yet.

Is this a joke thread? If not, then lol...

I like our playoff chances but superbowl might be a little to far ahead for me to think about at this point.
I think the defense has to play better, they are playing well but not good enough just yet. Maybe when they get healthier
that will change but what I see out there right now doesn't look like a SB defense to me.

When we played them, yes. But early in the season it's hard to know who is really good and who isn't. We are doing what a good team should do, which is beat these teams. Now that we are talking about a super bowl instead of whether we will get to the playoffs, its worth saying that we haven't played a true contender yet.

You just said its early and its hard to know who is really good in the first sentence. Then "its worth saying that we haven't played a true contender yet" in the next. So which is it? Is it too early? Or do we already know who Super Bowl Contenders are? If your going to make a point don't contradict it in the next sentence.

It bothers you so much you have to post this on a couple of boards! Some of them had winning records when the Cowboys played, after they played them they don't:eek:

Might be just enough with a touch of "opportunistic intentions"

Hey, why not think that way... These players and fans... That's their goal from day 1... Why not think it.... Talk about it...lol

Some people are never happy.

True contender? Sorry, the world champs in my book ARE true contenders until someone takes that away from them. We beat the WORLD CHAMPS in THEIR HOUSE. And still complaints about not beating a real team?
