Haven't lost game when Romo near 100%

I've been looking at the playoff scenarios and the most likely is that we are either the 3rd seed, or if we lose a game, lose the NFC east and are out all together.

As the 3rd seed we would likely have to beat Green Bay and Seattle to make it to the super bowl. I'm most worried about facing a big passing attack like Green Bay because of the absence of pressure. Back when we beat Seattle in week 6 I even posted that we hadn't yet beaten a team with a winning record.

But when I look at our record now the only games we have lost have been games when Romo isn't near 100%. First game of the season against SF and the short week against the Eagles. Then he gets knocked out against Washington and we lose the following week to Arizona.

Even with our defense the way it is we have won every other game. Seattle is playing better than when we beat them in week 6 and but perhaps we can keep Green Bay off the field.

We will learn a lot this weekend. If we can beat Indy then I really have to think that we can play with anybody and win. Exciting times.

Even with our running game as good as it is you still have to have a passing threat at minimum. Weedon scares no one.
So yeah, teams have to respect our passing game with a healthy Romo. In a way he still carries the team.

The Eagles game is a loss regardless, they simply clubbed us like a baby seal. Healthy Romo or not, someone in Philadelphia is wearing our skin the next day... which makes last week especially satisfying.

I think the entire team had tired legs that first Eagles game...and it almost could be expected, sadly.
Everyone was a step slow.

Neither Green Bay or Seattle wants to play the Cowboys in the playoffs.

They have the formula to beat those teams.

Seattle I agree with. Our defense is good enough and we may be able to run and control the ball against them the way we did in week 6. Green Bay I'm less sure about. When we don't get a pass rush even Colt McCoy was able to do a lot against us. I could see Rogers put up 40 on us pretty easily.

I don't think you can really stop Green Bay's passing game, with pressure or otherwise. You just have to hope they're having an off day. In that sense, the only real formula is (i) controlling the football and (ii) hoping for some luck on either turning the ball over or getting off the field on 3rd downs. In that sense, I think we match up as good as anyone against Green Bay.

Correction: Weedon does not scare anyone connected with the opposition. Anyone connected with Dallas is another matter altogether. I know it would scare the crap out of me if he had to fill in for Romo for any length of time.

What team is better equipped to go up to Lambeau in the cold and beat the Packers?

Thats because Super Tony along with the o-line, Dez and Murray are a dominant force. Literally pick your poison. We can beat you in so many ways. And with us keeping our defense rested, they are effective the time that they are on the field. Also we have been relatively lucky on the injury front this year compared to last year (20 different defensive linemen). This team can compete with anyone. And i cant wait to see some playoff football starring the Dallas Cowboys

As in "this year" or since the "beginning of time"?

Good post. In my opinion, Romo is having the best year of his career so far.

A team that can run the football. And must have a really good defense. That's seattle. Then New England. Then Dallas.

Well New England can't go into Green Bay and win in that cold, which is what I'm talking about.

I don't think you'll stop that offense up there in that setting unless you can keep it off the field. Seattle certainly has the potential to do it but I'll take Dallas because not only do they have the run game, but they have a for real QB who can make plays in the pocket when needed.
