Having Fun at Zeke's Expense

He was a fraud - like many fans I know
Zeke was the most complete running back in the NFL from 2016-19. Four years is around the average shelf life for a RB that got the kind of workload he shouldered and he's the third leading rusher in Cowboys history.

He is not a fraud. He sacrificed his body for this team. It's not his fault the Cowboys massively overpaid him; and I don't know how many people here would give that money back. I wouldn't.

I loved what Zeke did in our backfield but those years your discussing a number of backs could have done we had a great line. 2014 Murray , 2015 McFadden when the line went south so did the backs

I will say the play calling with Zeke in latter years left a lot to be desired

I would have much rather had Ramsey and Henry and no Jaylon but it’s easy to play Monday morning qb after the fact

I never understood the Zeke hate outside of last year. But im thinking it all stems from his six game suspension back in 2017-2018 and when he was getting accused for domestic violence and the type of woman who was accusing him. And also that same woman was messing other players on the team to get back at Zeke.

He was fat and useless his 2nd time thru here. But he was hardly a fraud. Dude was one of the very best RBs in the league from his rookie year. The Red Headed Albatross ran him into the ground, and Jerry kept shoveling money at him. That's not his fault. We would have taken the money, too.
