Haynesworth, Jacobs Wage Battle of the Bigs
It's Wednesday, which is always a good day for media to collect quotes and sound bites that will help shape game coverage leading up to the weekend. The best thing out of the Commanders' locker room today came from defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, preparing for his regular-season debut in burgundy and gold. Apparently, he's not scared about facing 6-foot-4, 264-pound running back Brandon Jacobs.

Jacobs might have lit up LaRon Landry in last year's season-opener, but it's going to be a bit harder to rattle Haynesworth, who doesn't seem the least bit intimidated by Jacobs' size.

"They all fall the same, so it doesn't really matter. None of them are bigger than me, so it doesn't really matter to me," Haynesworth said. "What is he, 250? I weighed 250 when I was in the 10th grade."

It didn't take long for that to reach Jacobs. Bob Glauber, the NFL columnist for Newsday, tweeted Jacobs' response this afternoon: "When I was in 10th grade, I was 242 pounds ... running the ball."

Same here. I want Haynesworth to hit him so hard that all you see after is smoke, dust and a tattered #27 jersey.

Jacobs apparently didn't get what Albert was trying to say so he instead went a few steps short of "my daddy can beat up your daddy".

Albert wasn't boasting about who could beat who up in high school. Albert was saying he was Jacobs size back then and now he's even bigger. Of course, Jacob's dumb *** couldn't figure it out and instead said:

"Oh yeah, well I was this size and I was running the ball".

That's all good Brandon but you are now outsized by about 100 LBs. That was Albert's whole point.

Jacobs seeks a lot of attention from other men, might have daddy issues.
Might be daddy issues. Might be something more of a lifestyle choice.
