Last year, when we didn't go get guys like Haynesworth it was an indictment of our front office.

Hmmmm, funny, I don't seem to remember that at all.

In fact, I remember more of people (around here) laughing at Snyder for signing that dolt to such an inflated deal.

I'm just glad he's not here and that he's wasting Danny Boys money and not Jerrys.

I would rather Haynesworth stay with the Commanders than get traded to a real NFC contender like the Vikings. This Cowboys team should have bigger aspirations than the Commanders.

Exactly, but you won't find certain predicable critics acknowledging their vacuous comments now. Haynesworth is both a bully and punk. Perhaps another reason the Cowboys didn't pursue the in-human road grader Haynesworth, is because of his face stomping of Gurode several years ago.

That netted the former Titan not only fines but a suspension. Gurode may have forgiven but I bet he has not forgotten. When Haynesworth did that to Gurode he was taking matters to another personal vicious level.

I suspect Haynesworth in a Cowboys uniform wouldn't ever sit well with Cowboys players. The reported letting bygones be bygones is just part of the public relations veneer.

That better not happen. TO was enough. It was actually ridiculous.

I think it's the exact opposite in fact. All the glory usually goes to those who can get to the QB. That's part of what makes Albert good. He knows that if he plays in a scheme where he won't be getting any sacks, he'll be seen as a bust (kind of like some fans see Spears because he also doesn't rack up many sacks).

I think Albert knows if he can't get many sacks as well as being a force in the middle against runs, his future value will decline and he will not see another big contract again. He will be seen as a bust even if he is a really good run stopper without the sacks.
