I hope not. Every time an opponent's key players are out, they somehow play backups who come out of nowhere and play us better than that starter would have.

The Commanders were already 24th in the league against the run. Gholston will be completely overmatched replacing Haynesworth, and the Commanders linebackers are undersized.

You know what that means?

We're throwing the ball 45 times.
I hate that that made me laugh out loud.

Also, I hate that earlier today I watched both of those links in your sig:laugh2:

Don't believe it, Deadskins are infamous for pulling this caca, they did this with portis last year where they said he wouldn't play, but did. pathetic move.

Big deal. I haven't seen one game where he hasn't been lying prone on the ground with some sort of injury.

Yeah... If I suddenly got 100 million, there's no telling what all I would break.

I certainly would be prone, that's for sure.

Conflicting reports on Albert Haynesworth

Posted by Michael David Smith on November 20, 2009 2:16 PM ET

Washington Commanders defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is struggling with an ankle injury, and there are conflicting reports about whether he's healthy enough to play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Scott Noll of ESPNDallas.com, citing comments that Commanders secondary coach Jerry Gray made Friday on Michael Irvin's radio show, reports that Haynesworth will play against the Cowboys.

But on the 2 p.m. Eastern broadcast of SportsCenter, ESPN reported that Haynesworth is unlikely to play because of his ankle injury.

Jason Reid of the Washington Post, meanwhile, reports that Commanders coach Jim Zorn said of Haynesworth's status, "I do believe that's going to be a game-time situation."

So despite the two ESPN reports, we don't know whether Haynesworth is playing or not. And we probably won't until Sunday.

If we do well, all of the things that we are capable of doing well, we will be fine.

But knowing that we are also capable of not doing well, .. now that bothers me.

I looked on Extremeskins and didn't see anything about Haynesworth being confirmed out. Surely they'd have heard about it and have a first-page thread on it if this were legit.

I'll believe it when he's not on the field for their first defensive possession.

He may be tired from warmups and faking an injury, so he can suck on some oxygen.

He'll play... I just saw a report that they figured out a way to get him on the field despite his injury:

Jerry Grey was on with irvin this morning and he said haynesworth was playing and they didnt make him practice so he would be ready sunday.

and he also said the cowboys are much harder to game plan for this year than when owens was here. It was kind of funny to hear irvin trying to get him to change that statement after it was made but he didnt and then broke down why it was harder.....giggle giggle.

Post-news spin: "He was never in the game anyway, so it's not like we'll miss him that much."

Pre=news spin: "He's going to play, the coaches are just using dirty tricks to make Dallas think otherwise."

Post-news spin: "He's scared."
