HBO dropped the ball on Hard Knocks

They should've continued with Dallas.

This season would've been entertaining as heck to watch on Hard Knocks.
Cowboys 2021 season so far = the actual games being played - is entertaining enough for me.

Gotta be some distraction, bad idea.
wait... i thought us being on hard knocks was such a distraction it was gonna ruin our season? Can the Cowboys really have much more media attention?? Would it matter? They are always under the microscope.

How does having Hard Knocks help us, yep.....it doesn't.

you are 100% correct, and I was being totally facetious, because just like it doesnt help us, it didnt hurt us either. If a team has a crappy season after being on Hard Knocks it is because they suck, not because they were on hard knocks.

Pretty much this...

During an appearance on SiriusXM Radio, first-year Cardinals coach Bruce Arians called Hard Knocks "a total distraction, and I think it's an embarrassment to players. I think when players are released, some of the things that are said between coaches and players are too personal, and nobody else's business."

It does nobody any good.

actually, the nfl is 100% business. Players, when it comes to their duties/job are whatever the league says it is. Hard Knocks drums up interest in the league which is good for every player, every coach, every team, and the league as a whole. So, nah, you get no privacy when it comes to FOOTBALL stuff.

Players want all that publicity for their brand... on their terms. Sorry, its like an actor.... you get publicity 24/7.... both the good and the bad. Comes with the job.

When your team is forced to do anything the other 31 don't (that season) it sucks. Nobody likes it and everybody knows this, it's just a stupid idea by some people with no common sense.

It's like jury duty, nobody likes it and if they can get out of it they do.

stupid idea???how bout mandatory press conferences after games> thats stupid... but why do they do it? Its all about pushing the NFL. Thats what hard knocks is.
