It comes down to consciousness and various states of consciousness. As you likely know, nobody knows what really causes consciousness.

But lately, people are theorizing that consciousness doesn't occur within the brain. Instead, the brain is an instrument more or less that connects with its presence in the universe. But it's already there, theoretically.

It's at least interesting, and we haven't really scratched the surface yet.

Yes! I believe the brain and various states of consciousness can send proteins, healing, and love to injuries that are not only mental but also physical. I've seen it, and I agree that we're only scratching the surface...
