Head Coaches You Would be Excited if they were Hired

Harbaugh brothers
Reid
McVay
Shanahan
Specifically Harbaugh brothers. Father was a coach and they were taught the old ways. Build the OL and DL to be a big brutal team focused around the run and stopping the run. That identity flows everywhere. Fundamental don't make mistakes with the QB and WR being the only maybe divas on the team. Reduce error from QB from running the ball effectively. This is the TYPE of coach we need even those two are unavailable. We need a leader of men and we really haven't had that just nice guys that make nice with Jerry. Really since Linehan left I have been disgusted with our lack of run game and emphasis. I have drastically soured on Dak but this would fix a lot of his problems.

•aaron glenn,lions dc
•kliff kingsbury,washington oc
•anthony weaver,dolphins dc
•jon gruden
•nick saban

Tomlin is the only one I believe could change the Jones culture and instill discipline. Carroll and Belli might could, but do they still have the energy to battle the Jerry circus?

Which ones would get you out of the general malaise we have all been feeling since Green Bay if not longer? For me, it's the following:
Ben Johnson
Aaron Glenn
Doug Pedersen
Pete Carroll
I would be OK with:
Brian Flores
Joe Brady
Robert Saleh
and, maybe, Kellen Moore

What say you??
Doug Pederson ? Do your research

I live 40 mins away from Oxford, OH and it amazes me how many successful coaches have came from Miami of Ohio. I'd take a chance with Shula, but heck get McVay to come.

we need to hire an offensive coach as the HC,all our troubles are related to bad offensive shme, bad playcalling especially in the Red zone.
All our problems are anything but related to offensive scheme. We haven’t been able to stop the run since the Great Depression.

73 yr old Pete Carroll, maybe. (170-120).
This team might respond to a personality like his, I dunno.
excited, NO,but i would be OK with it...rumors could end up with HC-Caroll, Saleigh DC- Mike LaFleur as OC/asst hC or title to get him from the rams or Kubiak -might be fall back list.. just rumors.

Yep.
All of the above.
I don't believe in Dak regardless of coaching but your points are legit.
I'd add Payton to the list too.

Tough coaches who preach and make happen - physical play, will be my choice.

Aaron Glenn, Chris Shula are some good D based coaches

Ben Johnson, Bills and Bucs OCs are all good Offensive coaches, but defense is the bigger issue in Dallas, as well as a coach should be dictating terms to the QB ( anyone who can’t do that will not succeed)

I think he might options that could actually happen.

Might as well put Vince Lombardi on their
I listed current coaches that I thought could win in spite of Jerry (and Dak too, for that matter)based on their coaching history, not on their current availabilty.

Just a different angle is all.
