I've been a Cowboys fan since I was 10 years old (believe me when I say, that was a long time ago) I raised my son to be a Boys fan, and now he's grown up and doing great on his own. I live on the West coast and the closest pro team are (cough) the Seahawks.
Over the years I've talked about going to a real Cowboys game in Dallas, knowing that I would probably never really get the chance to get there . I took the family to Seattle one year for a pre-season game which Dallas won btw
Well, the other day my son called, "Dad we are going to Dallas". I did all the arguments... No money, blah blah. Dad, he said, I allready bought the tickets, they'll be at your house on Monday. Well, we lost that game Sunday and honestly I was a bit down about our trip (for about 5 min.) I'm headed to Dallas, and for me it's a dream about to be real. Even bigger, my kid is making it so... I used to be jealous of the fans living in or close to the Cowboys, but now I feel like the luckiest guy around.
