I'm leaving Wednesday morning at 5 am Winnipeg Canada time and hope to be there by 1 pm. Staying right DT with a 5 min walk to Viking stadium. So are they a crazy bunch down there or are they laid back. Should i wear a Cowboys jersey or will i expect to get beer poured on me. I'm fairly quiet so i wouldn't do anything to provoke 15 drunk guys in the next row. Speaking of beer i wonder how much they are at the new stadium i wouldn't go over board but just wondering. It's a long story but got some tickets from a friend of my bro and some sideline access passes for before after game. Wonder if theres any autograph chances and what i should bring for signatures. Oh ya this is my first Cowboys game and i've been pulling for them since 1976 but have been to Mine several times on family vacations.

If you have an old Hershel Walker or Drew Pearson jersey, I would NOT wear that unless your looking for a little dust up. Anything else and you should be fine

St. Paul/Minneapolis people are pretty cool. I think you'll have a great experience as long as you show respect. ;)

I lived in Minnesota for 4 years from 1985 to 1989. Went to a little Bible college in Bloomington. 4 of the best years of my life. The only think I don't miss are the incredibly harsh winters.

Minnesota people are totally cool. You'll have a great time!

PS because i can't resist: Fargo is the best Minnesota movie ever. They really do talk like this, the natives with their Norwegian accents.

Fellow Canadian. In Southern Ontario the NFL is arguably bigger than hockey. How popular is it in Winnipeg? Is the CFL more popular? Lot of people in Toronto didn't even know about the Grey Cup thst in Toronto yesterday to give you an idea of how we feel about the CFL lol

One thing you have to understand about Americans. The midwest is known for people's hospitality and courtesy and Minnesota is just like that. The people are extremely friendly and have those midwest sensibilities of decency. Plus there will a lot of Cowboy fans there - after all, the bandwagon is officially open.

You'll have a great time - I hear the stadium is awesome!

Have fun I am from Winnipeg also, but can't make the game this time around.
