My friend told me about this and it works. All you need is off deep woods bug spray and some paper towels. You can see I did the passenger side headlight on my car and left the other one the way it was for a comparison took like 30 seconds. I know a lot of cars get this on their headlights and just thought I'd share. I couldn't see good at night at all before this. I have tried several different methods, nothing works. At best, they might turn out 20% better. I wil look into this one.............

The trick really is to:

1. Rough sand the headlights. Really scratch them up.
2. Get finer and finer with sandpaper.
3. The last sandpaper, as fine as it may be will still look bad.
4. One of the headlight kits has the compound
5. Then gloss/wax

They come out like new. You really need to sand deep sometimes to get the cloudy out.

When I did mine. Half way through I thought I was buying new ones. I thought they were ruined,

They looked brand new. So much so that I gave them another once over.

It's not cool to wait until it gets that bad.

I'll be honest, prior to my old Honda, I never knew headlights changed colors like that. It took the car breaking down and someone fixing it for me that I realized it was even an issue. I know now... and I've noticed I gotta clean my new Honda's headlights.

I'll be honest - this is one of those things I just thought most people knew about. Perhaps my previous post was a little over the top.

Well, I've only had "new" cars for the past 20 years or so, so those things never cropped up for me personally until I bought a used car a few years ago.
