Why do they always show this game? It's a good game but not all that memorable.

It was a close game throughout so to say it wasn't "memorable" is crazy. ( specially since this game got Dallas back on top after taking a year off due to loss to the 49ers the year before )

Any game where we win the NFC Championship is memorable.

You can see the Packers' confidence growing.

They looked scared early, but now (leading 27-24), they think they're going to win.

Remember, Reggie White went crazy at the end of this game when they lost.

If I remember correctly, White looks right into the camera & screams "Get that camera of of my BLEEPING face!!!" :lmao2:

The real question is why don't the ever show the 1992 NFC Championship game? That was oen of the best games in NFL history and they never replay it. And I'm not talking about none of that narrating stuff too.

I caught part of it.

Jurkovic getting chopped blocked by E. Williams was fanastic. Well, not necessarily him getting hurt, but the Packers thinking they were all that and trying to play tough guy after the injury.

And Michael Irvin in the Packer's defensive huddle having a nice "discussion" with them about the whole thing a few plays later.

If anyone forgot what an awesome leader Irvin was, just watch that game again. I don't think I had seen it since it was played.

That's not true. I Tivo'd it recently. It came on not too long ago. They also showed the 1981 NFC Champ game against the Niners.

That game had a run of cheap shots in the 2nd quarter. I was at that game, and the crowd was electric. You had to watch the game live to see all the cheap shots that were being taken. Erik Williams had his hands to Reggie White's face on every play - no flags called.

The block on Jurkovic was legal. He was not engaged when Williams rolled up on his leg. I was close enough to hear what Jurkovic was saying that day as he walked off to the sideline. It was priceless.

Emmitt also got pushed into a kicker's net. Nate got into a fight with Gilbert Brown. Then there was Irvin, who had the nads to walk over to the Packers in an effort to settle the score.

Not to mention that a Packers assistant got hit out of bounds also.

That was a phenomenal game, and the crowd never got quiet. It was the loudest game in Dallas that I have ever been to.

They show that game because of Brett Favre. It doesn't have anything to do with the Cowboys.

I love it when Nate Newton says, "One more score", I more score".

They got it.

Emmitt Smith and the offensive line put them away.

Larry Brown was in the house, and he did it in the Super Bowl, too.

A bit disappointing, theyve shown the 95 Championship game quite a few times, was hoping it was the 93 game so I could DVR it.

Sweet. I really envy those of you that got to attend those games with that team.

I caught the play where Emmitt got pushed into the net on the replay today.

I had the entire game on in the background today while doing stuff and it was almost enough to choke me up hearing Texas Stadium going nuts even with 4 minutes left on the clock, knowing we were on our way to our 3rd SB in 4 years. Man, what a team we had during those years.

When everyone looks back on those years they all remember the Triplets and the big plays, and all too often forget how physically dominant the team was. They flat out bullied people on both sides of the ball with a mixture of punishing physicality and tremendous athleticism. Favre looked downright scared at the end of the game. That interception by Lett when GB was backed up in their own zone still blows me away to this day. When was the last time we saw a player in a Cowboys uniform pull off something like that.

I believe not only will we never see another Cowboys team like that one, but we will never see one in the NFL period.

I loved seeing Tony Tolbert again. That guy was outstanding and quietly made a helluva lot of key plays.

its on right now, a great great game; on nfl network

Ive come across this game on NFL Network about 13 times in the last few years. They have thousands and thousands of games on tape and they insist on cycling about 10-15 games only. Its pitiful.
