The real question is why don't the ever show the 1992 NFC Championship game? That was oen of the best games in NFL history and they never replay it. And I'm not talking about none of that narrating stuff too.
That's not true. I Tivo'd it recently. It came on not too long ago. They also showed the 1981 NFC Champ game against the Niners.

I caught part of it.
Jurkovic getting chopped blocked by E. Williams was fanastic. Well, not necessarily him getting hurt, but the Packers thinking they were all that and trying to play tough guy after the injury.
And Michael Irvin in the Packer's defensive huddle having a nice "discussion" with them about the whole thing a few plays later.
If anyone forgot what an awesome leader Irvin was, just watch that game again. I don't think I had seen it since it was played.
That game had a run of cheap shots in the 2nd quarter. I was at that game, and the crowd was electric. You had to watch the game live to see all the cheap shots that were being taken. Erik Williams had his hands to Reggie White's face on every play - no flags called.
The block on Jurkovic was legal. He was not engaged when Williams rolled up on his leg. I was close enough to hear what Jurkovic was saying that day as he walked off to the sideline. It was priceless.
Emmitt also got pushed into a kicker's net. Nate got into a fight with Gilbert Brown. Then there was Irvin, who had the nads to walk over to the Packers in an effort to settle the score.
Not to mention that a Packers assistant got hit out of bounds also.
That was a phenomenal game, and the crowd never got quiet. It was the loudest game in Dallas that I have ever been to.
